He's too busy to return a call even for a long term patient; too much time wasted when information gets lost between patient and messengers (doctor's multi layered staff); Dr. sends messages that are useless, stab in the dark comments - when he should know the patient who he saw recently and could certainly have one of his many staff pull the record - tho' Dr. Steven is a techie and should know how to do that himself. He used to be accessible - but it's more about patient volume than the individual patient. He gets 2 stars rather than 1 or none as at least his staff person was responsive as she could be. But patient basically left nowhere - a simple return call from the doctor would have saved time and stress and reduced 5 calls/repeat explanations of issue which were not completely recorded, to one direct and probably problem solving conversation...for which I would have paid - in case the hold up is - he doesn't get paid if he talks on phone.

My health has become quite complicated. I've been told to see many specialists and have received different diagnoses and treatments. Dr. Steven listens and is able to connect-the-dots. You don't always need tons of expensive testing. An experienced doctor can make a huge difference!

I have been a patient of Dr Steven for many years. He and his staff are very easy to work with, and truly care about their patients Through his testing and treatment my allergies and asthma are well controlled. My son now sees him as well. They explain everything they are doing and my son feels comfort with that.

Does not listen to what his patients say and does not take their concerns seriously. Just another doctor that tells you yours allergies are in your head.

Dr. Steven is outstanding!! I was a patient of another allergist, for over 25 years and wasn't getting any relief from the shots. He wasn't giving me what he should have in my shots. I had multiple upper respiratory infections every year. After 4 years of shots with Dr. Steven my health has improved dramatically! I haven't had any upper respiratory infections! The shots cured me of my allergy to tree fruits due to my developing an allergy to birch trees in 1984.

Very pompous. Thinks he knows more then everyone else. Wants you in his drug studies. It is his way or the highway. Tells you what to do but does not answer questions.

I was referred to Gary Stevens due to having reactions with foods and environmental allergens that we're causing headaches, breathing problems, rapid heart rate etc. Upon scheduling I was told to set aside 2 hours of my busy day for allergy testing. Upon arriving my wait time between being transferred into different rooms until I was actually seen by the doctor was about 1 hr. At that time he proceeded to tell me there were no allergy test that they were going to give me and to just take Zyrtec

So I drove all that way just to be told to take zyrtec and still no knowledge as to what I should avoid that may trigger these frightening reactions.

Dr. Steven works with you to determine the best care for your conditions. He keeps up on the latest studies to effectively manage each patient as an individual. He is always willing to listen and explain changes in condition and medication.
