Dr. B is the best!
Dr. Burkle is my primary, and I say that with confidence after years of not having had a primary care physician in whom I had any confidence. What I like about Dr. Burkle is that he is straightforward and sincere. He will never give me any misconceptions about what he can or can't do for me. As someone with mental health issues and a degenerating lumbar spine, I know that Dr. Burkle is my primary and not a psychiatrist nor a pain specialist, but I also know that he isn't going to just let me fall through the cracks and will give me the referrals and advocacy I need so that I can have a complete care team in place. His staff always treats me with kindness and empathy as well. I highly recommend Dr. Burkle. If you've had bad experiences with primary care physicians or family doctors in the past, you will find him a welcome change.
Dr. Burkle and his employer have made it difficult for me to continue to use their services moving forward. A simple physical (preventive care option) turned into a $350 bill because answering one of Dr. Burkle’s questions turned the appointment from a physical to an office visit. It increased the cost from $20 out of pocket to $260. The only change in care from this answer was to switch medications back to one I was using previously.A more experienced professional would have taken note that this added 'care' didn’t justify such an extreme result. He never explained that answering the question would result in paying $240 more (net). This practice is based on moving patients through their office as fast as possible to increase revenue. I wasn’t there long enough to even sense a personal care or commitment provided by the services of Dr. Burkle to justify these payments. I would not recommend his services.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
