List of Gregory Young Md's Reviews
I wasn’t able to see my regular doctor today and scheduled with Dr Young. His staff was very friendly and caring. He listened and was thorough and I found him to be very knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend him.
Very thorough. Provided good diagnostic information and checking further. Kind and professional. Made me feel better under his care.
Greg takes the time to listen carefully, ask proper diagnostic questions, discuss care options, then make an informed, experience-weighted recommendation. I leave feeling confident that my health care is in good hands.
My interaction with Dr. Young was very brief, and it occurred a couple years ago. He visited me in my hospital room the morning after my baby was born at Hudson Hospital. I was in the care of a midwife, so I think he was actually checking on my baby. All I remember was him sitting on the edge of my bed and putting his bare hand on my bare thigh, while wishing me well or something like that. It was a subtle move and I was so caught off guard I didn't say anything. It was done with authority and smugness. I'm all for therapeutic touch, but that's not what that was. I would never choose to see him again.
We have a family member who had been Dr shopping and had some issues with pain medication. This office knew about it the family member had seen Dr young a few years back. Had another surgeryfrom another Dr and was under his care. He could not get anymore pain medication. So he made and appointment with Dr young. Now he had not seen Dr young in well over a year. Our family member went into his office with a cast on his leg. Dr young preceded to write a prescription for 24 oxycodone. And his nurse Katie left me a message on my phone which I still have telling me about this. Totally violating hippa. Our family member is over 21 and none of us were on any forms to give out information. I have filed a complaint with DSPS and also spoke to several Drs and people at Hudson physicians. They just ignored our concerns and I'm really not sure how Dr young sleeps at night all I wanted was an answer to why with all the people dying and having issues with the opioid crisis.why would he write this when he knew he was under the care of another Dr .
Went into him twice to look at a spot on my back he said it was nothing so I went to a specialist they just looked at it and said it was basal-cell did a scan and I test and sure enough it was he just pass it off as nothing
I found his bedside manner very odd and I did not find it easy to talk to him. He seemed very rushed and I don't feel like he listened to my symptoms at all. With kids and a full-time job I never take the time to go to the doctor for myself so when I do it's only when I'm really concerned about my symptoms and he really just brushed them off. I don't have time to keep going back to the doctor so it was very frustrating.
Odd affect and dismissive. After listening to my symptoms, sent me home with a treatment for "hemorrhoids." I ended up having to contact another doctor to order a colonoscopy. It turns out I had Stage 3 colon cancer.
He was a lousy dr, he tried to make the appt as quick as possible even though my symptoms were serious those like con cancer, he ordered a cat scan and didn't bother to call me back about the results or further treatment. I had to call back and see another dr as my condition worsened. He was a jerk, hellooo I pay for my insurance it's not charity!!!
We had Dr young for years as our family Dr. In the beginning we loved him. He has always been very scattered which has gotten worse in the last few years. But he was kind. He delivered our first born so we had him deliver our second child. I from the beginning questioned this choice with our second as he changed so much. He was rude and rushed through appointments. He would ask me questions about shots and medical stuff that he should have record of. He could never remember our names and asked me each week how my job was even though I told him a thousand times that I was a stay at home mom. He clearly was not paying attention or listening. When it came to the birthday I was disappointed in the lack of care I received. Not only did he complain that he was tired and seemed crabby when he arrived to the hospital when I was in labor. But after my son was born he was condescending and rude to me when I would ask him important questions about his very small birth weight. We saw him a few times after for follow up. I finally had had enough when he would continually stick his bare fingers in my babies mouth to check how well he was sucking. Talk about unsanitary! No glove or anything. I finally switched. many of my friends who have seen him have nothing but bad things to say. I would never see him again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
