Abby, the RN, had finished her 12 hour shift and had stopped in my room to say “goodbye.” She reached out her hand. We shook and turned it into a fist shake. We may never meet again, but I treasure Frederick Buechner’s description!❤️ “A WOMAN WITH A scarf over her head hoists her six-year-old up onto the first step of the school bus. "Goodbye," she says. A father on the phone with his freshman son has just finished bawling him out for his poor grades. There is mostly silence at the other end of the line. "Well, goodbye," the father says. When the girl at the airport hears the announcement that her plane is starting to board, she turns to the boy who is seeing her off. " I guess this is goodbye," she says. The noise of the traffic almost drowns out the sound of the word, but the shape of it lingers on the old man's lips. He tries to look vigorous and resourceful as he holds out his hand to the other old man. "Goodbye." This time they say it so nearly in unison that it makes them both smile. It was a long while ago that the words God be with you disappeared into the word goodbye, but every now and again some trace of them still glimmers through.”

My husband had his colonoscopy at Hudson Hospital. It was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The healthcare staff was informed of my husband's lack of response to certain medications prior to his procedure. We wanted it to be as pleasant as possible. NONE of this was taken into consideration in managing my husband's pain/anxiety thru the procedure. My husband FELT EVERYTHING!!! I would NEVER RECOMMEND this facility for this type of procedure.

Forgot me in the room before discharge. Fun having to hunt down a nurse on foot to see why I'm still there when I had zero tests done. Which led me to be unable to go to any open pharmacy, as I'd been there long enough for them all to close at 8. Classy work, guys. Huge waste of time. Won't be going again, getting help through the Park Nicollet system is like pulling teeth.

Two weeks ago today, we came in for my husband’s knee surgery. We were greeted at 6:00 am at check in and they were very helpful and cheerful for that early and very cold morning. We were guided along to where surgery would be and I was given a tour of the waiting room area. The hospital was very clean and easy to get around. Each nurse I met with was extremely kind and informative of what the next steps were after surgery was complete. The pharmacy had all our prescriptions ready and gave very complete instructions. We felt we were in good hands and would definitely go to the Hudson Hospital again.

I had both babies here (2019&2021) and if I have another I’m coming here again! The staff treated me so well and I felt very comfortable and well cared for! Amazing nurses and doctors here. Highly recommend!!!

Over a year and a half's time Hudson hospital gas lit me 3 times and turned me away.. It took Mayo medical lacrosse 3 months to figure out what was wrong with me... I'm being advised that I have a medical malpractice case for neglect and refusal of care.

I have had good experiences here when seeing a specialist from dermatology as well as when having a hysterectomy. I've seen the dermatology department staff over the course of a few years and they have been great, often remembering me and details from our casual conversations. I felt very comfortable with them and like I was getting a personal one on one caring experience. The hysterectomy was with a physician from Hudson physicians, though the nursing and assistant staff from Hudson hospital after my surgery were considerate and I felt very comfortable in the facility and having my family visit with me there. I would continue to see specialists here and would feel comfortable having surgery done again.

Great experience for a planned outpatient procedure. Everyone I interacted with was wonderful- got tons of great information plus a follow up call the next day.

This is now the only hospital, clinic or ER I will even visit. Every time I have come here the care team is phenomenal, even when they are busy they always communicate well and make sure you’re comfortable. 10/10
