Morgan Barnum Do's Online Review Report Card

She helped me so much. She is such a great teacher and I recommend her to all of the women in my family.

I saw Dr. Barnum today for the first time and she was absolutely fabulous! I would highly recommend her as she truly cares and took the time to answer all of my questions. I will definitely be going back to her!!!

Morgan delivered our second child. She took the time to learn who I was as a person and took great care to continue learning through out my pregnancy. My first delivery, (a different hospital) was less than pleasant and I shared that information with Morgan when we first met. Dr Barnum was outstanding! In what appeared to be a very difficult and dire situation, she thoughtfully and calmly solved the medical issue and I could not be more grateful.

I saw Dr.Barnum for my first pregnancy. She delivered my son via c-section after being in labor for ONLY 25 hours and not even in active labor, I was at 4cm when she rushed me into having a csection. Also, I learned this after that you have to be at least 6cm for the provider to consider a csection. I wouldn’t even call my c-section an “emergency” because nothing was rushed and everyone toke their time but she said my son was in “distress”. She didn’t even give me any other options. She said I was in labor for too long (it was only 25 hours in which I was induced because my water broke and I have heard people in labor for longer than that) and that wouldn’t be able to handle the pushing stage. I was a first time mom at the time and very naïve. Please consider her your last option because she is not who she presents to be. She puts on a different face when delivery time comes. It was also a weekend when I was delivered so I don’t if that also played factored. Thinking about it now too, I am also African American so that could’ve also played a role. I don’t regret my csection but I regret not doing any research and just going to the closest provider. For the record, 18months later I was able to deliver TWINS vaginally with no complications with a different provider which I admire so much and can’t thank him enough for making my dream of having vbac REAL. I pray for him and his family everyday because he was honestly the best and I wouldn’t let any other provider deliver any of my children. Dr. Barnum is not who she presents to be. She puts on this fake smile at her appointment which are also long and talks nonstop and she is always running late on her appointment. For someone with DO not MD, you would think she would more gentle and caring to her patients but she is not at all. It took me a lot of healing after my worst birth experience with her for first born that I promised my self I would never see her again. Now, that I’m past that traumatic experience, I want others to be careful with her and not to trust her at all and that she will put you under the table with no problem (if you don’t believe me ask her for her C-section rates). She has no ounce of care or even patiences for her patients.

I came in telling her what I thought was wrong with me, she completely wrote me off and the appointment was done in 5 minutes. All she did was write me a new and extremely vague prescription that didn't work and was never refilled on time due to her negligence. Never seeing her again. Obviously doesn't want to talk the time to listen to her patients.

Dr. Barnum is fantastic. I trust her completely ,and she takes the time to truly understand what you're going through. I can't say enough good things about how she's helped me through pregnancy. She's a wonderful doctor, and I recommend her to all my friends.
