I love Aurora Healthcare!

This review is specifically for labor and delivery.....please train your nurses how to be more helpful and compassionate also make sure they know the rules when it comes to visitors. Make sure they know the difference between a visitor and a parent. My son was told he had to leave the room every time someone came to visit. He was already so sleep deprived so when I came to visit he left. I didn't even get to witness my 1st born son taking care of his 1st born son, I had to have pictures sent to me. I'll give it 2.5 stars for half the nurses that did their job like the one I messaged that I know to finally get the facts. At one point my son and his girlfriend were told they couldn't have visitors. Said her brother was not of age to visit but he was in fact old enough. I know with covod things are harder than ever before but that's no excuse for lack of communication and lack of knowledge.

I had the good fortune of being witness to a CT Technologist ‘LORI G’ @ Aurora Healthcare in Kenosha go above and beyond the norm with a challenging patient condition. You folks at Aurora Medical Center are fortunate to have this bright, compassionate young woman on your team. The patient experience was a success due to her expertise.

Double standard. I was seen in may for same symptoms , my wife call yesterday about and they said she has to go walk in due to symptoms she has, she also called on 18 may but they again made her go to walk in, (they did a covid test Neg). We both have sinus infection past month. They saw me in 18 may.. I called spoke with Heather lead RN, she stated she had symptoms but I did to but was seen. She said it was up to Dr Santarelli if he wanted to see her. We been with him since 2002. The kicker is we both are vaccinated also, does not mean anything to them. Probally they make more money from me than my wife. It is sad we did like it there but seems like we are a number to them now.

Dr Lee is great with my girls couldn’t ask for a better Dr for them

Received a Visitors wristband from the front desk to accompany my girlfriend for a check up. After walking to the office with her, we were informed that there were no visitors allowed. Lol what?

Prepare to receive the most insane bill for the simplest visit.

I have a friend and coworker whose husband has cancer and was informed by his oncologist to go to Kenosha Aurora emergency room. He and his wife were informed he could only be dropped off and she would not be permitted to come in with him although his condition Should be determined as a life-threatening illness which could potential he take his life. His chemotherapy is causing him to become jaundice dehydrated inflammation in his mouth and throat he was given medication for thrush but after today’s visit was informed it wasn’t thrush at all during his treatment his wife was informed she could not come in with him. After reviewing your website it’s determined that a second person Can assist with a complex medical condition that would need decision making. I understand the severity of the pandemic right now however these patients need support and they need to be able to count on their significant or family to help them in decision making situations when they’re not in their right state of mind. Although she’s a phone call away it’s very disturbing that she can’t be there to support her husband.

How we get experience and skills if dont get hired on?I've certifications I'm very honest and hard working and so on

Dr. Kumar treated me during a Urgent Care visit at Kenosha Aurora hospital. I was diagnosed with bronchitis, sinus and ear infection. Prescribed antibiotics for 10 days. I was out sick from work for 3 days. I felt miserable. My company requires FMLA if sick for more than 2 days. Returned to Aurora after illness and asked Kumar to sign FMLA paperwork....he refused stating I didn't contact him AGAIN for approval of a 3rd sick day. ??? He should've communicated this requirement during my initial visit. I've been a Aurora patient for over 20 years.
