I understand that people have bad problems there but my experience was really good The one doctor was I would not give her a five-star but all in all I thought the staff was so good to me.They really were kind and also I thought the cleaning staff was amazing they were always washing their hands keeping it very tidy and the nursing was just really good.I had to spend the night I felt I was treated right The doctor I'm talking about will be going or leaving.Anyhow that's been my experienceI guess we have to remember we're in the rural area northern Wisconsin. During these times even big cities are struggling with hospital care. I can'imagine it's hard to find doctors who want to live here I don't know about these things just guessing I hope I don't have a bad experience they've been kind to me I'm sorry for those who have.I also went all fairness had a terrible experience with a nurse in ER I don't know these are difficult times thank you Heather for trying to help me out with my needs.
Absolutely horrible weekend staff... Could not reset a dislocated shoulder with no doctors available.... Do Not Go Here if you care about your people
nurse was rude, uninformative, spent 4 hrs in ER , just to have doctor say he didn't know what was hurting my wrist.. waste of time and alot of money.. this is the 3rd time in 10 yrs I have been disgusted with the way we were treated.. won't go there again.
Dr did not see me until over a hour and forty minutes later. I came in for shortness of breath and no one saw me for over an hour. Once the dr saw me he tried to prescribe me an antibiotic that I am severely allergic to and told me if the shortness of breath continues to come back. I will drive myself to Eau Claire toa completely different hospital before I come back here again.

The nurse proceeded to yell at me and block me from leaving the room when the visit was finally done.
I brought my husband in to the ER. Due to covid, I was asked to wait outside (not a problem, I'm glad they were taking precautions). They said they would provide updates but never did, so I waited outside for 3 hours unsure of how he was doing. They also said they would call him with the rest of the results from his labs. They never did. I thought he was possibly suffering from heatstroke or an extremely severe panic attack. They refused to give him water, they only allowed him ice. Their treatment plan was essentially to leave him in a room by himself for three hours. They didn't bother taking labs until he had been there over an hour. And on top of it all, when my husband described his symptoms (confusion, faintness, racing heart), the doctor yelled at him saying, "You haven't yet told me what happened!" My husband had carditis and meningitis 3 years ago. We take his health seriously. I wish the doctor and nursing staff would have too. The only good part of the experience was the OT they had greeting people at the door the morning of July 4th. She was the only person there to take him seriously, even getting him a wheelchair as he thought he was going to faint.
Awful. Nurses yelled at me and the doctor on call had no idea what he was talking about.
A big THANK YOU goes out to Dr. Rikkers and his staff! Very happy with the care I received from everyone! 😃
Went to hospital for urgent care and was told urgent care was in the emergency room. The doctor I saw informed me he was an emergency doctor and I should have made an appointment with my pcp. I told him my pcp was in Illinois my reason for going to urgent care. Dr acted as though I was wasting his time never examined me gave me a rx for pain and told me to make appointment.
Hospital staff was very nice. However cafeteria closes during lunchtime and if you’re lucky to get down there in time, it’s cash only. Wouldn’t be a problem if they had an atm machine, but guess what!!...no atm in sight and I couldn’t leave because my son was in surgery. One of the front desk ladies had to pay for my daughters lunch! Very thankful for that, but she shouldn’t of had to use her own money to do that!! What hospital doesn’t have an atm machine???

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
