List of Jason Stangl's Reviews
This guy is shady. Stay away from him!!! Likes to slip and slide side to side when speaking to you about your procedure. Will not offer hard facts and side steps questions. The most important thing to him in his interview with you is your signature on the consent form. He is out of the room in under 30 seconds once he gets consent. He will leave the form, turned upside down on the computer stand, and leave. That is the time to read the important parts of the consent that was just signed. Returning to the patient after surgery he has no bedside manner. He told my wife "Well you gave us some problems this afternoon". He seemed displeased with her. Here's the kicker. 7 days, 1 week later my wife is in the emergency room with extreme rectal bleeding and a low hemoglobin count. Oh, by the way, the original procedure was my 67 y.o. wife's screening colonoscopy. A screening procedure an she almost bled to death. NOW when I look up Dr. Jason Stangl I find he is kind of a flunky amongst his previous patients. Some Carver Medical School in Iowa then to UW-Madison for the meat if his career.
I drove a long way for this appointment. This doctor was rude very unhelpful and very unkind of my wife. I would have been better off to go to a stranger off the street. Avoid this man if you can
Started a fight with my mother 5 minutes before I was about to be sedated for a procedure. Refused to look at my photos documenting the issues I was having. Dismissed all my medical concerns as irrelevant. Literally asked me why I cared about having the problems I was experiencing. Would be a better fit as a mortician, though I think even the dead would feel uncomfortable dealing with him!
With no knowledge of my medical history, Dr, Stangl walked in to the procedure room and started diagnosing me and telling me to change my habits. He was just a fill in for my procedure and I had never met him before.
Arrogant and dismissive, had clearly formed an opinion before meeting me. Possibly the worst bedside manner I've witnessed. If you can, I'd suggest waiting for another doc.
Possibly the most dismissive and incurious doctor Iâ??ve ever consulted. One by one, Dr. Stangl invalidated my (very debilitating) GI symptoms as either irrelevant or non-existent (imaginary). His cocksure attitude and adversarial manner were unbecoming of the profession of doctor, and I had the impression he was compensating for the fact that he did not really know â?? or want to know â?? the actual cause of my condition. So disappointing, especially given the steep charge for a very short visit!
Dr. Jason Stangl was great and caught my pancreatic cancer early! Am completely cured!
Dr. Stangl performed my third colonoscopy which was the easiest and most comfortable compared to the other two performed at other locations. He was very helpful and informative about the procedure and results. Very professional.
I went to Dr. Jason Stangl with what my primary care physician thought was a gall bladder problem. Dr. Stangle ordered an ultrasound which showed spots on my pancreas. He then performed an ultrasound scope and took biopsies. The biopsies came back pre-cancerous but Dr. Stangl sent me to a surgeon believing they should come out right away. The surgeon removed most of my pancreas and a lymphnode and after the pathology came back they showed to be cancerous. I found Dr. Stangl thoughtful, thorough with excellent judgement and very caring. Both my husband and myself felt Dr. Stangle was down to earth, easy to communicate with and that he was covering all the bases. He even took the time to visit me in the hospital after surgery.
ok dr seemed to be concerned didnt seem arogant did a good job but follow up could be better but arent all drs busy and over worked

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
