List of Jessica Dalby's Reviews
Refused to run tests that in the end ended up being positive and very dangerous and delayed treatment as a result. Uneducated about diseases, and ego gets in way of patient being treated as a result. Beware!
I'm now 60 years old and of all the doctors I've had, Dr.. Dalby is up there as one of the best. She always listens and addresses everything during our visit. She cares and you can tell she cares. I love Dr. Dalby and would recommend her to anyone and actually have recommended her.
We saw Dr. Dalby on a same-day appointment. She was very thorough, listened to our health complaints, and asked appropriate questions. She was very friendly, put both my child and I at ease instantly. At the end of our visit, she was extremely helpful in diagnosis, follow-up care instructions, and answering all of my questions. I would be happy to see her again as a doctor for our family.
OK, I just saw the other review of Dr. Dalby on this site, and all I can think is that a lot of people don't know of this site....(sorry "Vitals" admins) or else there would be dozens of other reviews saying the exact opposite of the unsubstantiated and very rude review that I just read here by someone who chose to be anonymous...big surprise there - especially when that person is probably making the rounds of local doctors seeking narcotics for themselves! The other review is a very negative one, written by someone clearly in pain, but someone who also sounds like they were expecting a doctor to let the patient tell them what drug they want, and write them a prescription without considering all aspects of the case. I cannot say what the condition of the other review was, except that their desire for pain medication seems to be their entire focus, whereas Dr. Dalby treats the whole patient and that often involves looking at alternatives to narcotics when that is a feasible course of action. I suffer from chronic pain, from many different sources. I won't go into detail, but let's just suffice it to say that it ain't getting any better, ever. I am not terminal, but I am in a lot of pain, constantly. I am here to say that without Dr. Dalby's expertise, care and professionalism, I would have given up hope years ago. She has prescribed medicines for various conditions, as she saw fit, after working with me to understand my problems. Then, my doctor, my very good doctor, works to help achieve the best relief possible for me, with the least use of medicine. That is ethical and very good care, and some of her alternative treatment ideas have been instrumental to my well being! This is a top of the line professional physician what I would, and in fact, DO trust with my life. There is no better doctor, and the staff at Wingra Clinic has never been anything less than competent and helpful. I feel lucky to have her as my doctor.
While the office staff is very nice, they are also incompetent and Access is as a whole backwards and weird in its operation, and I was misled about what kind of doctor Jessica is and her experience with patients that have diseases and pain. My old primary wasn't a people-person but she still took care of me and had knowledge of my condition--and when it got outside her realm of expertise she involved a team of specialists and pain doctors. I would've been better off sticking with her even if she wasn't the most bedside-friendly doctor. She is a hippie doctor newbie who knows nothing about real-world patients or medicine yet...and I have the feeling that she'll be content to remain in that ignorant bubble. She believes that real severe chronic pain due to awful diseases/injuries can be cured with "mindfulness" and doesn't believe in surgery either. While meditation, breathing, etc. certainly plays a roll in pain management, it cannot get rid of some very real severe pain. For example: Try getting six kidney stones, Dr. Dalby and as you're about to pass them try to just get through it with meditation and happy thoughts. She only believes in pain medication for end of life care. Thank God I have a pain doctor who knows my disease and condition and all that I have tried and am trying, and that one cannot "deal" with that amount of pain without their body going into shock and the patient wanting to die. She doesn't understand very real physical conditions whose standard of care amongst all of the medical community involves surgery. For instance if you had cancer, she might tell you to just think happy thoughts and that surgery and medications are evil. She's content to let your disease spread. You've been warned. If you absolutely must have this doctor you better hope you don't even get an ear infection.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
