List of John Rice's Reviews
Dr. Rice has been my doctor for seven years, since my diagnosis with liver disease, the progression of the disease and post-transplant. I am blessed to have him leading my care team. He is incredibly smart yet always explains things clearly and thoroughly in laymen’s terms. I have never felt rushed and found him very willing to answer all of my questions. I would strongly recommend him as a physician, if someone needs an exceptionally skilled liver specialist.
after being referred to this dr, he was 35 minutes late to appointment, spent 5 minutes, said I had a problem, left, came back briefly to tell me to do some labs. Didn't seem to care, no manners, 6 weeks later, got a very vague letter basically saying he doesn't know what this is. No recommendations, no nothing. Don't waste your time. Would not recommend
Dr. Rice and the staff at UW transplant are incredible. They never judged me or gave up on me. I cannot be more appreciative of all they do. Dr. Rice listens to my concerns and takes as much time as needed to make sure that me and my family understand my medications, my transplant status and how I feel in general. It's been a scary time for me but, Dr. Rice? Awesome! Everything is less stressful after I speak with him or his staff.
I was the only one in waiting room, office not busy at all. Doctor was 30 minutes late, spent 10 minutes with me and he seemed like he could care less. He didnâ??t help me at all, useless. I will never go to this doctor again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
