He was a really good doctor for me. He was really nice and listened to my problems and tried to fix them to his abilities and it worked really well.

Terrible experience with Dr. Anderson as my PCP. He could not have done any less to advocate for my health and guide me through the difficulties of healthcare than he did. I urgently passed a message from his nurse asking for an urgent appointment because something had gone really wrong in my back (but not bad enough for ER). Took 3 weeks to get in, but didn't even want me to take the appointment, rather he sent a message back through his nurse telling me to seek PT, essentially passing the buck without the courtesy of even a consultation over the phone. Over that three-week period of time... Things got way worse. Went to urgent care, followed by 2 ER visits and still no call or response from Dr. Anderson throughout. This was a really scary time, as my spinal cord was impinged by a ruptured nerve and I literally couldn't get out of bed. After a spinal consultation, an epidural, and emergency spinal surgery scheduled in three days, I still haven't heard from Dr. Anderson.

If you are a young woman STAY FAR AWAY FROM HIM Habitual gaslighting for any little issue you clearly explain. He even gaslit me in mychart messages claiming I had not been communicative of symptoms during serious GI complications that landed me in the hospital, even though there's an entire thread over weeks of me communicating the severity of issues every few days. Wouldn't even order basic blood draw for TSH level for another issue that had been repeatedly documented (and routinely affects/is diagnosed in women my age). Sadly, in a town as big as Madison I met THREE other women with similar experiences who had to switch away from him. Medical gaslighting is incredibly dangerous but he doesn't seem to care.
