Due to an extremely large and rare tumor, we met with 3 other surgical oncologists before finally being referred to Dr. Kelly. She quickly put together a treatment plan and scheduled a highly complex surgery. As the lead doctor during the surgery, she encountered several complications that were not shown on imaging, which she addressed in a manner that considered both the current health of her patient, and the patient's future quality of life. She is the perfect mix of a highly skilled surgeon who compassionately listens to her patients and takes the big picture into account with medical decisions.

One of THE most complex surgeries one could have and Dr. Kelly was flawless. For a month prior, I asked her every question, every which way, and then around again as to the need for this particular surgery and if there was any other way to approach. She was steadfast and explained and re-explained in ways I could understand and was always willing to answer any of my questions. She showed up every single day post op. Generally residents are left to round and they did. But Dr. Kelly always made an appearance as well to check in. EXTREMELY bright, competent and highly recommended from other surgeons.

Dr. Kelly is very, very hard to contact. My husband has cancer and she did a Laparoscopy. She never checked on him after the surgery. She is impossible to contact. She calls from a number that you cannot call her back on.
