My short time with Dr. Shannon was comforting. I had to move out of state not long after starting with her, but I always felt i was in good hands. Friendly, compassionate and a good listener. The nurses I dealt with were wonderful and respectful.

Dr. Shannon diagnosed me with Parkinson's Disease. She was very matter of fact about it and even made jokes. The two times I've seen her, she made light of my condition and concerns. More importantly, she is a "nocebo" (opposite of a placebo) by insisting on clearing me of any hope I might have of living a reasonably good life. She's dismissive with a smile on her face. She also seems to be unaware or interested in new research or therapies, completely discouraging about alternative therapies. She has a backwards view on nutrition as well. I won't be going back.
