List of Kathryn Miller's Reviews
I had previously seen her and the team at American Center for a knee problem. They worked intensively with me to achieve my goals. Last January I went on a 7 mile hike in South America that was beyond my expectations, and with no pain the next day. Now I am back for hip pain which at 70+ I expected to be told it was time for surgery. But no we have a plan to rehab and to keep walking. I feel totally in control of my own health! Wonderful feeling.
Extremely knowledgeable, makes very sound treatment recommendations, and really personable. I trust her medical care completely.
Worst experience with a doctor I've ever experienced. She doesn't treat her patients. She treats MRI and X-Rays. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and she quickly told me my running days were probably over. No advice. No support. She just looked at the MRI and came to a conclusion. I sought out a new doctor who had great advice and knowledge on how to continue running even with osteoarthritis. It's nearly two years since I saw doctor Miller and I'm still running with no knee pain. Avoid her!
I would never recommend her to no one! She acted like she found out why I had the pain, when in fact it was a different Dr.. I found her being very insensitive,no bed side manners. And very Conceited of her opinions towards you, and your health! Very rude, Can't even give a star rating! Also very judgmental, I wouldn't take my pet to see her, I never tell anyone about her, but to tell them find a different Dr. I thought the U.W. had high standards, I guess not with her!
I have found Dr. Miller to be 100% right on. I have had some pretty complex issues over the last couple of years between several major surgeries and Bi-lateral PE's, and have felt Dr. Miller's support and concern the whole way. She has always been very pleasant and always given me as much time as I need for questions and discussion. I have never felt rushed or disregarded by Dr. Miller and highly recommend her to anyone that might be looking for a new doctor.
Katie is a fabulous doctor--warm and personable and very knowledgeable--always prompt with a reply when I pose a question on MyChart--would highly recommend her to anyone.
My family and I have been seeing her for about 3 years and Dr. Miller always seemed like she was in a hurry. One time she told my father "doctor's like me don't have time for patients like you" during a follow-up appointment. At first she seemed like a good doctor, but as time progressed she became increasingly ruder and at times, even her nurses began to act inappropriately. I've never experienced anything like this before from any doctor, I'm so glad to be switching to a different PCP.
I've never met a Doctor like Katie. She has really taken the time to get to know me and listen to my concerns. She does not dismiss my thoughts or undermine me. She has continuously encouraged me in my journey to become healthier and takes the time to check in. I would highly recommend her. Her staff are also friendly and wonderful.
Dr. Miller overlooked the issues I wanted to discuss with her, only focused on other matters I was not interested in addressing at that time. Blatantly forgot about my lab results and brainstormed other diagnoses with me even though my dx was clear from the labs.
I found her generally discouraging during my visits to her at 20 South Park and left feeling badly about myself after seeing her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
