She diagnosed my metabolic acidosis as a panic attack and sent me home. I ended up with the right side of my face and legs paralyzed and had to text 911 to carry me out of my apartment. I was unable to speak, walk, eat, or drink. Once admitted to a different hospital, I needed speech, physical, and occupational therapy to help me get back on track to go home. Dr. Gussick made a lot of ignorant and biased assumptions about my symptoms because I sought mental health treatment several years ago.
