MIranda Bice's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Bice is an amazing professional! I came to her after being in pain for six months due to a large herniated disc. I was in so much pain and completely exhausted from the stress of it, but once I was referred to a spinal specialist, they quickly referred me to Dr. Bice. She listened to me describe all the treatments I'd tried. She was very compassionate and clearly explained the next steps. I'm so grateful that she did not hesitate to operate on me despite me being overweight; she saw the incredible pain that I was in! Due to a cancellation, I was able to get in very quickly for the surgery. Thanks to her and her amazing team, everything went very well. I felt so much better after the surgery and no pain during my recovery was even close to the intense pain I felt before. The healing process went smoothly and after four months, I had my final follow up with Dr. Bice. She completely reassured me about being active again and not fearing another injury. I appreciate the confidence she gave me. My discectomy was done over six months ago and I'm so glad I had the surgery done and done by such a great surgeon (and team!). I'm back to moving around normally and am able to do everything I was before I injured my back. Thank you so much, Dr. Bice!

When I was referred to this provider for my debilitating back and hip pain by my PCP, this provider chose not see me at all in clinic. She had her staff call me on the telephone instead of ever seeing me in clinic (as a "normal" referral situation should work). So, I was actually denied any type of care or treatment completely. I was told by her CMA that Dr. Bice states it was possible that I could be a back surgery candidate, but would need to have a BMI or 35 or less and be a non-smoker first. Which, mind you, the BMI piece would be a long-term goal and i needed help like, now. I was discriminated against by this provider due to my weight and the fact that I was a smoker at the time. This provider clearly wasn't interested in helping me at all. Nevermind the surgery piece...why would she not see me in clinic at all and offer some type of relief treatments in the mean time? Well, sadly, today my degenerative condition is still worsening and rapid declining and this provider's poor and clouded judgment has helped to push it only closer to the edge. I gave this person a 1 star rating so I could share my story in hopes that others won't be FORCED to suffer as I have been made to.

I didn't want to give Miranda Bice a Star at all but had to to write this review about her. In my days I've never been treated so badly by a professional Miranda Bice didn't listen to what my history of my spine is like. Ive had 4 spine surgeries in my life. I know what I'm feeling and looking at do to the past surgeries. She had blew me off she didn't note my chart right of what was talked about but at the sametime Miranda did all the talking no Listening to me of my history of my past surgeries. Miranda told me to go back to Oklahoma to get my problem fixed there. If I didn't like what she had said. To me that wasn't Professional. If Miranda would of read my chart from Oklahoma she would of seen what all is and going on. I don't live in Oklahoma anymore I live here in WISCONSIN this is my home of 3 years. Miranda's helper had more to do with me then Miranda plus I had waited on Miranda for a hour after my appointment time. That i didnt have a problem with at first having high hopes of a good doctor do to this app of Star Ratings. Was I wrong Miranda Bice told me i would have to have a Injectiion done in my neck to help with the pain. I asked her if it was going to be a Steroid shot Miranda told me no it isn't going to be a steroid shot when I went back to Madison to get the injection done it was a steroid shot after all that it didn't help and the drive killed me I had and have alot of pain the drive alone was over a 3 hour round trip. After all that I felt like I was lied to by Miranda Bice. Miranda Bice also said she sees something there in my xray but don't know what it is for professional doctor that make no sense it felt like she didn't know her job. When Miranda Bice asked me about the Medication of Gabapentin I told her I get sick and I'm Allergic to that medication Miranda Bice done a eye roll. When the appointment was over I had left in tears and the friend that gave me a ride there was in shock how Miranda had done me it was very Unprofessional of her. I felt like a number not a Patient that does need help now I'm having a 2nd Spine specialist Look at me having to do that drive aging and all the stupid footsteps aging. THANKS Miranda Bice!!!!!

Unprofessional don't know what she is looking at very rude don't listen her way or no way her words and tells me one thing and it not being what she said I left a one-star review on Google it's more detailed

Dr. Bice saw me for multiple back and neck issues. Was in so much pain lived on muscle relaxants and pain pills around the clock. Dr. Bice did my laminectomy and I am off my pain pills and muscle relaxants. That was last fall. Able to walk all day without pain. I could hardly walk without excruciating pain. Because of the expertise my surgery was a complete success. I have my life back!!

I went from barely moving to walking 90 minutes a day my daily pain level was at a 8 and now 6 weeks post surgery to pain level 2-3 it will only get better Thank you Dr. Bice🤗🤗🤗

very thorough listen to my pain and surgery was successfuul

Having a herniated L5-S1, especially at only 27 years old was brutal. The pain shot down my right leg constantly for over a year, sitting was the worst and I dreaded it. I tried everything I could but found only temporary relief. I’m now 13 weeks out of a microdiscectomy/laminectomy procedure performed by Dr. Bice and I feel INCREDIBLE. I can sit, stand, walk, exercise etc without feeling even 1% of the pain that haunted me for so long. It sucks that I had to have this surgery, but I am so happy and relieved that I did. I owe Dr. Bice big time for helping my body more than anything ever could. I’m also now medication-free due to the success of this surgery. Can’t thank her enough.

Very personable, down to earth, very bright and a wonderful surgeon. I highly recommend her

listened to concerns of my severe back and legs issues but made it sound like it wasnt that bad..will see what happens on my next visit with her
