I have recently reviewed my portal to find a letter to my Doctor after coming back to Wisconsin to find the information about my diagnosis untrue. I was very pleased with my experience with Dr.Pfau at the beginning but when he was unable to explain all what was going on I feel is ego was in the way. Also found out he didn’t specialize even in my disease which is Celiac disease ( also have DH rash). I went to Mayo to get a firm diagnosis. I hope that in the future he will send his patients to another doctor if he can’t figure it out!!!!

YES. He is Very Professional, Thorough & Positive. I believe that some of personal appeal has been very unkind and misunderstood. Dr. Pfau's very knowledgeable & long-term skilled Staff, have already taken care of many different kinds of upfront necessities before patients see Dr. Pfau, necessities that have included stats and various health problems - in that way, Dr. Pfau already has important INPUT in his hands before seeing and discussing with his patients such things as past history and next steps.

I have been going to Dr Pfau for almost 20 years. He has helped me with pancreatic problem and other GI issues. I have had no problem understand his explanations of the situation or any issues with any procedure he has had to perform. He has given me quality of life back. If I have another problem he addresses it, he listens to me and he doesn’t rush into any unnecessary procedure. I recommend him to all my family and friends.

Extremely unknowledgeable and rude! Spent a second with me and I felt very judged the entire time. Has zero bedside manner or compassion for his sick patients.

HORRIBLE! I do not trust this man at all. I saw him for a scope and was told he was the best, that could not be further from the truth. When he met with me before the procedure he seemed very rushed and rude. After the scope I find out he wasn't thorough at all. I am now facing another scope because of his mistake. DO NOT SEE HIM!! waste of money and time. Just don't go with him, even if it's a last resort. NOT WORTH IT!
