Excellent 2 years. Information needs updated on websites.
I went to see Dr Kurtz with a problemwhich I had been struggling with for 6 months. He palmed me off on my dentist because he couldn’t do anything about it. My dentist told me to see my physician. I went to a different physician who ordered lab tests and scans which showed that I needed to see a specialist. She referred me to rheumatology where I was diagnosed with a chronic illness that needed to be treated immediately to prevent serious future complications.
I found Dr. Kurtz to be excellent at explaining why I need to do certain things like keeping my blood sugar under tight control. Dr. Kurtz is extremely good about getting back to me through email regarding any lab work I have had done and doing it from his home when he could wait until he gets to the office. I am thankful that he will be overseeing my care as especially as I am an aging baby boomer.
I first started seeing Dr. Kurtz when he was at Mercy Beloit. There isnt any thingunfavorable about him or his staff. If your looking for a Doctor look no more!!
Nice doctor if you are not really sick. Easy to talk to. Doesn't seem well versed in medicine. News crews like him though. Maybe he should have been an actor.
I know several younger people (male and female) who really like Dr Kurtz...he is younger, very friendly, and not at all intimidating. I didn't feel extremely comfortable with his knowledge of newborn drug addiction - he basically google searched some info during the appt - that's a little disconserting! Also, he might seem a little "green" to the geriatric population.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
