feel like i was dismissed because of weight issues did not do an exam on knee or leg just said lose weight and exercise

Dr. Nyquist is honest, very straightforward, and presents options to the plan of care. I have no doubt that he is an expert on his field. However, he is very fast pace, tends to be a bit too upfront in the conversation, and seems a bit indifferent with patient concerns, which may come off as uncaring or lack of interest in problem solving with the patient.

When I first came to Lundholm in the 1990s I was treated by Dr. Lyddon. After he retired I have steadily seen Dr. Nyquist and we go back many years. Lyddon is the finest and so is Dr. Nyquist will see Dr. Nyquist if at all possible. My faith in him and his abilities is at least 100% and I will always recommend to anyone needing his services. J N

i am extremely happy with Dr. Nyquist. I had a hip replacement. He was very confident and made me confident. He informed exactly what was going to happen and I had no surprises.I like his upfront manner. He was very decisive.

Dr. Nyquist and Mellissa were incredibly patient with me before and after having Arthroscopic shoulder surgery.

He is one of if not the best knee and hip doctor in the area very nice guy humorous and a bulls fan as well. But he did my knee and I feel better then I ever felt!!!

My experience with Dr. Nyquist was a nightmare. His attitude and manners leave a person wondering what just happened. No patient should have to chose between feeling better and knowing what is wrong. He asked me jst that, "Do you want to feel better or know what is wrong?" I have a right to both. Made diagnosis without looking at my xrays Says it is a shoulder sprain, when in fact it is a bone spur on rotator cuff among a few other things. Only treats one aliment at a time not a body as a whole. Recommended physical therapy and return visit. Would rather pull my own teeth than return to him .

Dr. Nyquist is a great surgeon, bedside manner typical of a surgeon. Scheduling is a nightmare..no choices no flexibility.if there is a next time..may have to reconsider with all the SwedishAmerican Corporate hassle and delay in disability forms
