This doctor almost killed my husband by misreading his test results, that showed my husband clearly had a 99% blockage in his aortic valve. My husband suffered for 3 years with disabling symptoms, only to be told by Dr. Wallhaus that there was nothing wrong with him. It was only after my husband had lost over 50 pounds, that his PCP finally found the grave error made by Dr. Wallhaus. My husband was admitted to the hospital immediately, and had surgery for an aortic valve replacement. He nearly died during surgery because of his weak state. He nearly died once again on day 2 of his 8 days in the ICU. This doctor did not even apologize to my husband for his grave error in misreading the test results. In my opinion, this man should not even be practicing. PLEASE STAY AWAY - YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND ON IT.

Clueless in so many ways. He could not answer most of my questions. His reply was, “I can’t answer that, to be honest, I have never heard of that.” Such as a higher absorbing form of CoEnzyme Q10. I was very frustrated with him. It really was a waste of time.

Dr. Wallhaus was great! He performed a cardioversion when I was in the hospital, and when I met with him after discharge, I could not have asked for a more professional and HELPFUL meeting.

Dr. Wallhaus either misread, or did not read, my husband’s test results, which clearly showed a 99% aortic valve blockage. This resulted in my husband’s severe suffering for 3 years. In that 3 year period, my husband kept complaining that something WAS wrong, only to be criticized and humiliated by Dr. Wallhaus. Finally, my husband’s PCP investigated the problem after my husband lost 60 pounds in a very short period of time, and found the problem. The PCP told my husband that he needed immediate surgery to replace his aortic valve. My husband was not even allowed to go home - he had to go straight from the clinic to the Hospital, where he nearly died in surgery because of his fragile state. After surgery, my husband spent eight days in ICU, where he almost died again on his second night there. Dr. Wallhaus did not even offer so much as an opology - he just told my husband that he should feel “lucky that the error was caught”. I cannot believe that this man is still practicing!!

After three years of suffering and constantly being told that he had nothing wrong with his heart, my husband found out through his PCP that he had a 99% blockage, and was in need of an aortic valve replacement. By this time, he was so weak that he barely made it out of surgery. He spent eight days in ICU. Dr. Wallhaus did not offer so much as an apology. I would not trust this man at all. He should not be practicing.

Maybe he's good with major cardiac problems, but he was completely unfamiliar with my diagnosis (dysautonomia), and did not seem to validate it at all. I felt like he did not believe me and was rather degrading. He also gave me inaccurate info about my illness. If he was unfamiliar with it, it would have been ok, but I wish he didn't pretend to know about it and give misinformation (had I not seen other specialists who deal specifically with my illness I would have believed him.) At a follow-up appointment, he seemed to not remember what I was in there for and had testing done to begin with. I didn't feel like I got any answers or that my results of a test were ever really discussed with me.

Knew very little about my condition and guided me wrong about it. Felt bad for coming in and wasting his time (this was the sense that I got). I'd had an event monitor and what he said did not match what I'd described as happening so I got the impression he was guessing and hadn't remembered what my results actually were. On the other hand, the office was really, really nice, as were the secretaries.
