He was my oncologist when I was diagnoses with Follicular Lymphoma. He was very thorough and kind in his telling me about what I had and answering all my questions. He gave me hope and understanding. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing oncology service.

This doctor insisted that our view on the Covid vaccine was political? I had gotten ITP 2x's as a child and was told it was from vaccines. The 2nd time we were told by UCLA oncology that I would go into LUPUS. I burned the ITP out, thankfully. I read that folks have gotten ITP from the Covid Vaccine, therefore I felt I should stay clear due to my past history. This doctor said my thinking was political. That makes no sense, he was not willing to look at this under medical guidelines.

Dr Gahvari was very considerate and explained what my possible issues might be. He was very calm and clear in his explanations. I felt respected and cared about. I will be seeing him again soon and feel good about his helping me.
