Surgery for Dupuytryn's Contracture.... he said there may be nerve damage - I'm okay with the risk. Turned out there was, but there wasn't even a "sorry, but it happens sometimes".... the last visit, he didn't even see me - it was the PA instead.

Saw Dr. Mikolyzk on 3/29/2018 at Lakeshore Orthopaedics, Manitowoc, WI. He examined and approved doing an enzyme injection my the small finger L hand as treatment for Dupuytren's contracture/disease. Dr. Mikolyzk was friendly, very professional. However, I was told by a support person that Medicare and my Medicare supplemental insurance, BC/BS of Illinois, would have to cover the procedure before an appointment could be scheduled. Hearing nothing for several days, I cancelled.
