Dr Trotter is amazing. He’s no nonsense and knows what he’s talking about. He’s friendly and takes time with you!
Dr. Trotter is a phenomenal doctor and surgeon! I had a wonderful experience with my surgery. Dr. Trotter has a great bedside manner. He was patient and answered all of my questions. He even took time out of his schedule (I had big toe fusion surgery) to walk with my down the hallway with me after I got my boot off, and remind me how to walk (I was worried after being off the foot for 6 weeks and injuring my foot if I walked wrong). I'd recommend everyone to have Dr. Trotter perform your foot surgery.
Professional, knowledgeable and caring physician. He explained clearly the condition i was experiencing, the treatment and prognosis. Home care instructions were given along with “what to watch for” to determine if a follow up visit was necessary. i would highly recommend him.
Avoid, there much better choices for care.
Aurora mandates specialist when UNWARRANTED! Healthy athlete NON-displaced toe Fx NEVER needs surgery, contrary to GP, "he needs surgery" scheduled appt "for us." Dr Trotter never lookd at toe, just walked in, said "no surgery, wear boot" to assistant, never made eye contact w me/son. "Boot" left toes hang over end 2"; next bt immobilized ankle to knee, still NO toe protection, never got correct boot. Bill: $50 copay, ins pay $500+, billed $250 for boot, + another $358 for "treatment". What Tx?
He's great!
Dr Trotter got straight to it no messing around. Carpal tunnel release both hands @ Aurora in Kenosha, Surgery took 2.5 minutes I know I watched the clock it was over so quick, they used a tourniquet cuff on arm & filled it with anesthesia doc stitched it up and they had cuff off in under 10min. Recovery was perfect did PT at Aurora and 10 days later Rt hand done. 10 years later had to get tested to prove I didn't have carpal tunnel & test came back perfect. Under 2% chance of getting it again

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
