MIlan Jordan's Online Review Report Card

Initially friendly, but seemed to resent being asked a couple questions and has some of the most oddly arrogant/rudest nurses I've encountered. I asked questions about the efficacy & possible effects of the statin he wanted me to start. He told me he takes them as do most most cardiac & vascular drs . He seemed to want this to be enough rather than answer a few questions: how much statins reduce the risk of a heart attack or stroke; if & how they have negative effects over time, & whether lifestyle changes could have benefits equal to or in addition to statins. I was hoping for a brief discussion. It seemed to me he became offended I wouldn't just do what he said. He never directly answered my questions. After a few minutes, a nurse came in, whispered to him, & he left. I asked if he would be back, she told me no & said something that seemed to imply I took up too much of his time, then also walked out. I left--with the impression I wasn't supposed to ask questions.

In my opinion based on recent experiences, Dr. Jordan's nursing staff is among the mostly oddly arrogant, rude and petty I've encountered. And Dr. Jordan seems, again in my opinion, to have a high self regard, so much so he does not seem to like patients asking questions about their conditions or medications he prescribes. It seemed to almost offend him somehow, for some reason, again in my opinion. Judge for yourself. My advice would be cautious and k ow you are not alome if you get a bad feeling, feel, feel your concerns are not valued, or feel left out of the process of your care.

I have been going to Dr. Jordan for several years to have varicose veins treated and monitored. I am in my 50's, and have had varicose vein issues since my early 30's. Over the course of years, I have been treated by several doctors and I find Dr. Jordan's work and empathy to be superior to all of them. I recently moved out of the state, but if possible, I plan to continue to see Dr. Jordan for future appointments.

No trust or confidence in this physician. He ordered a carotid test for me, and left town. Then he scheduled a left carotid endartectomy without even talking to me about it. The surgery was posted on a website patient portal - no phone call, not consultation. The scheduled surgery was for LEFT carotid artery - the blockage is on the right side.

friendly but botched up my moms aortic stent and not owning up to it. Never want this to happen to others. It is leaking and she will not trust anyone now to go back to surgery- thanks Milan

Good surgeon and even better person cares about his patients has great follow through and follow up. Will advocate for you if needed. Helped greatly with a referral, when situation got beyond his expertise

Dr. Jordan performed the surgery I required. He explained the procedure extremely well and spent time making sure I had no questions unanswered. His bedside manner was excellent and follow - up the same. By far one of the best doctors I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
