He takes the time to review your medical records, listens to the issues you are having and then he makes an educated decision along with you on how to proceed with your medical care. Dr. Penciu takes the time to discuss any problems you are having and he will answer your call after hours and he will help in any manner that he can! If you want one of the greatest doctors around Dr. Penciu is your guy!

I didn't choose him, I was sent to him when my PCP got a promotion. I rolled with it but should've pulled the plug earlier. In my history, he didn't do much 'doctoring', it was always test test test. Even a simple cyst (which he includes on his profile as doing), got me sent to an ENT. I always wondered if he got paid by referrals ...

My initial impression was good as he came across as very caring, then he made a major mistake and I ended up in the hospital! I found out that he is not very careful with his patients and does not always know when to refer out. Don't get caught up in his overly caring personality!

He was very kind and understanding of my several issues. He listened to my needs and concerns like very few doctors have. He also tried very hard to help me build my confidence in myself, and explained why some issues are result of medications I am prescribed. He was very thorough in my blood work and care; without even asking, he had everything ready to go and ordered. I really appreciate the care and attention I received from Dr. Penciu!
