Dr. Martin is one of the best doctors I have ever met. He is kind,courteous,polite,and friendly. He explains in detail what he will do,then comes back and goes over what he did. He took care of my husband,and put 2 stents in then came back to me and showed me pictures of what was done. Thank you Dr.Martin☺

What a warm, personable doctor! He answered all of my questions about my husband's heart catheterization and made me feel so at ease. He wasn't in a hurry. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, my father and I did not have a good experience with Dr. Martin earlier this week. He was referred to my parents by a close family friend who is his patient, and by a good friend of my sisters who is a RN at Community Memorial and has worked with him. To my surprise, his attitude was off from the beginning- shaking his leg, taking deep sighs under his breath, and coming off as annoyed by our presence. He began the conversation by essentially shaming my father for not seeing a Cardiologist sooner, after a negative experience with a previous Cardiologist. If that is his way of showing he 'cares', he needs to find a new approach. It got bad to the point that I had to tell him he was coming off as combative and aggressive. You only have one opportunity to make a good first impression and he blew it. Being a good doctor means nothing if a patient doesn't want to deal with you because you're coming across as a jerk, and not as a caring physician who is there to help.
