I had a pulmonary visit with him and his AWESOME! He asked how I was doing with my mental health and really showed he cared! I was there before the PET Scan to find out if the nodule on my lung was cancerous or not. He told me exactly what to expect. He told me that sugar would be put in my vein in my hand and they'd wait 20 minutes and that cancer cells attract sugar and it would light up on the scan brightly. I started singing "sugar, doo doo doo do do do, ahw honey honey." He laughed. He said if it showed cancer then they would have to do surgery. He really explains things to you and doesn't talk down to you! ********** THATS TEN STARS!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Khayat is one of the most caring doctors I have ever went to. His prognosis was to the point even though he had to tell me my disease was fatal. He answered all my questions thoroughly and spent as much time with me as I required. He was very patient with me. You could not ask for a better specialist.
