Horrible experience. Doesn’t care for you, very impatient, rude & disrespectful.. I change my doctor . Don’t request him it’s waste of time for pregnancy.

Unfortunately, my review of Dr. Fait seems to be similar to a lot of reviews I am seeing on here. I saw Dr. Fait for seven years for birth control, yearly checkups, etc. A few years ago, I started having a lot of irregularities. Dr. Fait really didn't have any solutions for me or ran any testing and I almost felt like I was annoying him and his receptionist every time I called with new symptoms. I was given temporary solutions and dismissed. I was almost never given space to ask questions and felt rushed out of the office even though I was usually the only patient there. I decided to get a second opinion with a new OBGYN. Within a month of seeing this new doctor, I was diagnosed with PCOS. Disappointed it took my new doctor only a month to find out what Dr. Fait couldn't figure out in 4 years.

No bed side manner, need to retire

It was 23 years ago 1998 after being a patient of Dr Fait's for some time I ended up going to another OBGYN for 2nd opinion due to pain, heavy flow, etc. The new doctor did a simple transvaginal ultrasound and stated one ovary was too big and I needed exploritory surgery asap. Thank goodness I IGNORED Dr Fait and listened to my internal voice to see another doctor soon. I was diagnosed with Stage1A Ovarian Cancer. 6 rounds of chemo too. I was 38 yrs old at the time. I wrote him a letter sharing my outcome and total anger of his "patting me on the head" and ignoring my symptoms and him not ordering the simple test. No response on his part.

My late wife Katie was referred to Dr Fait and saw him for 5 years. She complained about a lump in an exam and he blew it off as caffeine and stress related. She went back three times after that( 2.5 years) and same story. Finally she asked for a mammogram. She was diagnosed with stage 3b triple negative breast cancer. And was given 6 months. She fought for 6 years. When I asked dr fait why he didn’t give her the test earlier he said because insurance wouldn’t cover it. Uggh. The test is less than 1000 dollars. I’m sure anyone reading this would pay 1000 vs losing their love and leaving 3 kids without a mother. I will never forgive him. His wife recovered from Breast cancer. Shame on you. 😥 sincerely. I’ve gone to Dr. Fait for a few years now and I have to say I was really disappointed in my experience the last time I went there. He didn’t bother to wear a mask in the room with me while he was doing my exam in the middle of the COVID pandemic which I thought was really disrespectful to me as his patient. A patient’s health and safety should be a healthcare providers number 1 priority and I feel like he totally disregarded my health in that situation. He should have been wearing a mask. Aside from that I felt like he rushed through the whole exam. He probably spent less than 2 minutes in the room with me, didn’t really tell me what he was doing before doing it and then didn’t tell me what the results of my exam were. He was about to walk out of the room and I had to ask him if everything seemed normal. I felt like he was totally trying to rush me out and collect a check at the end of the day. Planning to look for a new gyne after that experience. I will say his nurse is very nice though.

Dr. Fait has been my doctor since 2005. He delivered all 4 of my healthy babies and has been there for my husband and I through 2 miscarriages. I love how kind, compassionate, understanding and knowledgeable Dr. Fait is and I feel that he has brought his vast experience to each and every one of my pregnancies and checkups. Our pregnancies and births have not always been textbook but Dr. Fait has always discussed things with my husband and I, given us all the information we need to make a decision and been respectful of our personal convictions. While He always informed us of our options, he respected our decisions to not do any additional testing that could endanger the life of our unborn child. My husband and I trust Dr. Fait and value his opinion and expertise. I do not feel the outcomes of my pregnancies would be as positive if he had not been my doctor. He really believes in patient centered care and that is why amongst our friends he has delivered 19 children! Each one of our families deeply appreciate and respect him! Oh and did I mention that Dr. Fait actually delivers your baby...not whoever is on call. I had no idea that was even a thing until I talked to a bunch of other moms and realized how very blessed I was to always have my doctor deliver my baby, not a stranger.

When I was 28 years old I found a breast lump. I had seen Dr. Fait prior to that for a second opinion on my miscarriage and, while he didn’t seem to know much about my condition, his bedside manner was decent, so I stayed with him. When I went to visit him with my breast lump he felt it and asked me, “Are you coming up on your period soon?” I replied that I was and he laughed at me in an incredibly condescending way before replying, “You NEVER check for breast lumps before your cycle. It’s a cyst. You’re fine.” I told him I was just doing what women are told to: visit their doctor when they’ve found a lump. He said, “Sure, just not before their period,” and literally walked out the door. I was humiliated that he made me feel like this was something I should’ve known, but I know now this isn’t common knowledge for those that aren’t obstetricians. He seems to be good for his patients that he’s had for years and years, but new patients won’t get the best of him. I’ve since found an OBGYN that is patient and informative.

Dr. Fait is amazing!! He is a great doctor who cares deeply about his patients and their babies. His staff are helpful, professional, and incredibly friendly!

Horrible experience. He never answered questions. He kept telling me I was measuring too big even tho he had my due date wrong & I kept telling him I know exactly what day I got pregnant. Anyways my water broke at 36 weeks according to his date. But I was 39 according to my real due date.. I switched doctors as soon as he told me I had gestational diabetes & I'm gonna have an abnormal baby. I had no idea about the subject, just found out I had gd & never heard about it so I was scared. He was not helping at all. Anyways I googled a lot & Google actually made me feel a lot better about my gestational diabetes. "Abnormal" aka a little chunkier than other babies. Always told me i was gaining to much weight when I only gained 40 lbs the whole pregnancy & as soon as I had my daughter the next day I lost 35 lbs already, I was just retaining water, not gaining weight. Anyways, I switched doctors while in my third trimester. She gave me an ultrasound every week for an hour to monitor the baby. Gary fait said it wasn't necessary to need one after the anatomy scan unless it's needed. My new doctor told me it WAS NEEDED since I was high risk. Also he didn't want to tell me what I was having & when I said can we recheck so I can get ready for the baby, he said I don't need to be buying clothes anyways. This is not the 50s Gary. I want to enjoy going out shopping for my baby & get the house set up (not with all neutrals) so I asked if a private scan somewhere would be safe & he said "I'm gonna tell the state your doing that, going to spend your money on that" thinking I had state insurance since that mostly what he takes. But no, I had actual insurance I paid for lmao. So I went & got it done :) Overall, the best word to describe Gary fait is DOUCHE.
