I wish I had taken the advice of the most recent review. Do not have your loved ones placed in this facility. My mother was placed in this facility from the hospital. Her 3rd day there one of the staff members injured her arm. It took myself 2 days to get any medical attention and an x-ray for her. At that time I informed them of myself having her brought home. They got nasty and said it wasn't safe for her to go home but it was entirely safe for her to be injured there by their staff. Even one of the doctors that was there said they heard nothing but bad things about the place. During her initial assessment I was told she needed minimal assistance standing, transferring, and using the walker. By the time she was up for discharge she was unable to stand at all. This place allowed her to digress and get worse. The also never addressed an additional medical concern of constant low blood pressure. They are entirely rough with their patients. They make you wait forever for medications and being changed which resulted in 2 bed sores which were never properly teeated. They were completely ready to throw her out when the insurance ran out or pay 350 a day. I would not pay 1 cent for this place. It should be shut down. They even would not bring her pain medication to her instead they would give her tylenol.
All staff was great! I Would recommend to other people.
The place looks lovely, however like most places of this caliber: totally understaffed and poor nursing care. My friend missed meals and twice missed her medication, in her 2 week stayWhen talking to her on the phone the conversations in the hall outside her door were louder than she was. She was a prisoners of her room due to COVID so she wS quite lonely.I would Not recommend this facility at all.
I spent 9 days in room 104 and I could not have been treated better. They checked on me frequently brought me special refreshments. Made me feel like part of their family.I love Ignite!Thank you.
Absolutely horrible!!!!! They treat your loved ones with zero respect!! I have tried talking to someone in administration and of course no response back!!! Do NOT let a loved one go here!!
If you really care about your loved one don't bring them to this place. The level of care is really bad. My father in law had to be hospitalized 3 times while there with bad infections in his private ares due to not being changed or cleaned. Trust me the place may look great but it's not. Don't do it you will regret letting your loved live there.
Do not place your loved one here. Not even your enemy. The facility itself looks beautiful but it is just a shell for inadequate care. My father was placed here directly from the hospital. Since that day, we had nothing but problems. They let him fall 6 times and he had bruises in several places. When I visited, I waited to see how long it would take for someone to check his diaper…I was there for 5 hours. My mom had to get someone to do it. When I asked the manager how do they track diaper checks, he looked at me as if I wasn’t supposed to know it should happen every 2 hours. And how dare I have the audacity to ask. My dad was a dementia patient there to regain some of his strength. They left him in his wheelchair so long, he had exposed bed sores on both of his heels. Did they tell us? NO! My mother discovered it herself. We wanted to move him to a different facility but we were getting the runaround on purpose. He went back to the hospital for dehydration and we made it clear he could not go back there. He has now passed away. Some staff were nice while others were only there for a paycheck. Full of attitudes and elder neglect. This place needs to be investigated and shut down.
My experience has been the best stay i have ever experienced. All the nurses and aides have been really careing. I felt it to be personal experience the first day i got here. The staff went out of their way to make me feel comforable. I would definitely recommend to people in the future. I really want to mention how good Holly and Dustin were with helping me they went out of there way for me.Alfredo was great as well. The doctor went out of his way to look at my spine. His concerns was really meaningfully to me.
RUN! They don't care about their employees or residents...The kitchen can't read because they will give a person food that says they are allergic to ...they don't return phone calls and short staffed so a lot of residents don't get the adequate care they should
Thank you Ignite Medical Resort Oak Creek! Nicest post acute skilled nursing facility I have ever seen. The facility itself is spotless, well laid out and comfortable for patients and guests as well. Many specialties not found elsewhere truly give it that resort style feel. The management team truly cares about their employees which yields top notch patient care. I would definitely send my loved one here!
This is the worst place to take any family member. Please do not do so. My mother was there they never checked on her never came when she needed anything. I had to leave the room to find help for my mother. She had another stroke here and they Did nothing but laughed In her face. Also when visiting her there were many other people there calling for help and no one ever came to help the poor man. Same with others asking for help and the staff ignored them. They should not be able to help people when they are not even around to do so. My mother told the nurse practitioner that she was nausea, dizzy and seeing sparks of light the nurse laughed and said she was being silly and not making sense. 3 days later my father brought her home and said she was still not feeling right. She went to the doctor and they said that she was having another stroke. So 3 days that she was in this facility she never got the help that she needed. This goes to show that they do not care at all for their patients
I had a very good experience at Ignite in Oak Creek WI. The focus of this very modern facility is rehabilitation and the equipment for this in the gorgeous “gym” is first-rate. The rehab staff is experienced and top-notch. The physical and occupational therapists who worked with me following an accident and spinal surgery understood my goals and made sure I attained them. The other staff made every effort to meet my needs and were respectful and upbeat.
Would highly recommend Ignite Medical Resort Oak Creek friends and family who needs post surgery care. My aunt was here and she was very happy with overall care. She said it's feels like home and very nice staff.
The facility was exceptionally clean with no odor. My father said the food was good and that the nursing care was great. They were readily available to answer questions and had meetings with us so we knew what to expect. Thanks for getting my father home safely. It was a great experience being at Ignite Medical Resort Oak Creek.
The only good thing at this facility was the therapy staff and two of the multiple nurses my mom had. Pain medication was always administered way past the time it was due. At least three times they didn't even have the pain meds in the building and they had to send out for them with mom screaming in pain. The food for breakfast and dinner was a joke most of the time. Rarely received a drink with the meal. Lunch was the only decent meal of the day. A bath consisted of a nurse handing my mom a wash cloth. She got one shower in the two weeks she spent there. A beautiful building but too short on staff.
My grandpa stayed here during his rehab. This was one of the better healthcare centers I've been to. The place was clean and the nurses were all really attentive. They also give daily rehab sessions and they do activities as well. Also the food there is pretty decent compared to other healthcare centers. I recommend this for anyone looking for a good place.
I cannot say enough good things about Ignite Medical Resort. I'm so appreciative of everything they did. I would first like to express my gratitude towards you all. Beginning with the nursing staff, activities, front office, everyone. Thank you so much for being caring and attentive. You all have a special place in my heart. Thank you very much!
I went to ignite after a motorcycle accident. The staff was super nice and friendly. They went beyond what I expected in many ways. The food was ok for the most part but I was not there for the fine dining. The head management team was very good at there job and so was the therapy and the nursing team.thanks so much for all your help. Mike c.
The physical therapist and occupation therapist are 5 star. The food is terrible the mostly comes out of can. 2nd shift nurses and cna'stake way too long to respond to calls.
Ignite Medical Resort Oak Creek is definitely the best skilled nursing you can find. Their customer service is amazing and they know exactly how to speak to people. They are very respectful, fast-paced, and patient, which allows them to provide excellent services.
