Very nice facility. I find it odd that there are no monitors in the exam room to review and discuss images with patients and the physical exams have been very minimal.

I have never been treated so well! OAW has the most amazing doctors and nurses I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Before I started going there I could barely walk and was in horrible pain. The time and care they all took with me I will never be able to repay them. I recommend them to everyone I know who has orthopedic issues. And Dr. Tjarksen is absolutely amazing at what he does. This man has made it possible for me to have a better quality of life.

This doctor is EXTREMELY RUDE. I saw him for hip pain a year ago and he was rude then, but I really thought maybe it was that I caught him on a bad day. Saw him again today, he was 45 minutes late coming in(apt was at 1030 and he didn't come in until 11:15am!)for a follow up after over a year of constant pain. I sneezed due to allergies and was wearing a mask, but he refused to even do an exam or come near me despite access to a mask because he "had family coming in" and "people lie about what they have and don't know". He then told me my spine "looks completely healthy" despite MRI results that show the opposite. When I tried to explain that my primary doctor who referred me asked to do an MRI of my HIP, NOT BACK, he RUDELY interrupted me and said "CAN I TALK??". I started to tear up and didn't say anything. He referred me to pain management and left the room. He spent about FIVE minutes with me and didn't even do an exam, despite saying he did in the physician notes. I left this clinic in tears. This is the second time I have left in tears due to the rudeness and callousness of this doctor. Do NOT RECOMMEND!

Dr Tjarksen was extremely professional and friendly during a scary and difficult time! He explained the surgery and answered all my questions! I would highly him!

I had an appointment with Dr Tjarksen who was not only professional but his behavior and attitude was very impressive. He listened my physical issues patiently and devoted his valuable time very peacefully understanding and explaining to me. To my extreme surprise I didn’t find him in rush or being bored during consultation. During my appointment I didn’t have to wait even a minute all dealing staff members were very polite, attentive and courteous. I have not expected any more out of this visit. Dr. Tjarksen is the most amazing doctor! His response times were phenomenal and he did a wonderful job explaining my conditions, options, and his recommendations. I never felt pressured to proceed in a certain way but he was able to communicate clearly all of the information I needed to make an informed decision we both agreed upon. He was always considerate and took all of my problems seriously and he truly wanted to help me with those problems. He went above and beyond all of my expectations, and he is probably the best doctor I’ve ever had to work with! The whole hospital staff knew how skilled he is, so it was obvious he’s a great surgeon rather than just going on a yelp review. I recommend Dr. Tjarksen to anyone who has an orthopedic issues.
