Very welcoming, did not feel rushed at any time. Took the time to explain every question in detail and in terms that I could understand.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr. Ertl and his team. I was experiencing excurating left foot/ankle pain for 7 years. I heard about Dr.Ertl from my dad who also went to him for a broken wrist. He took the time to get to know me and my problems. Before heading straight to surgery like most surgeons do he went through and exhausted all of the options before recommending surgery. I am happy to say I am 3 months post op from a modified brostrom procedure and I haven't experienced any of the pain I was experiencing before. Thank you Dr. Ertl for listening to me and fixing the problem.

He explained every option possible to correct my ankle pain, which allowed me to make an informative decision. On day of surgery, my wife and I were informed of everything that would be done and what to expect after surgery. Everything was explained in detail and in terms which we could understand, so we knew exactly what to expect. After 7 months my ankle is doing great.

Dr. Ertl repaired my ankle from a hockey injury in the fall of 2020. It was, from what I understand, a situation where several chunks of my tibia needed to be pieced back together like some disgusting puzzle. Dr. Ertl took his time to arrange and rearrange the pieces to create the best possible outcome. The injury was significant, and I am still recovering - as expected. I will be returning to him for an ankle fusion in the near future. I highly recommend Dr. Ertl and his team.

Dr Ertl I want to thank you and all the nurse's for the tremendous success of my knee replacement surgery. I was treated extremely well and I really appreciate that .I had expected this procedure to be difficult at best but it was very easy. Thank you so much I'm now walking with no pain . I am so happy with Doctor Ertl and his work. I had been in a lot of pain for a year and went to see him for a second opinion . My first visit with Doctor Ertl he had my records transferred and discussed what he could do for me . I decided to have him do my surgery and I am so Thankful I did . It was a difficult thing to treat and has been 3 1/2 months since I had surgery and I am so happy with the out come . I definitely recommend Doctor Ertl for any orthopedic problems .

I have been working with Dr. Ertl for a year and a half with a pretty significant ankle injury. He listened to my consistent pain after the initial injury and surgery and has been willing to do what it takes to ensure all avenues have been explored and looked at to give me the best possible care. It meant a lot that he was willing to order more testing to get the explanations needed to move forward when the pain hadn't gone away. I've also gone numerous rounds of PT and they heard and had great things to say about Dr Ertl's work as well. Dr Ertl's staff and the hospital have been great as well throughout the entire process.
