After waiting two years to see a neurologist, I had high hopes for Dr. Gardon. It was a huge disappointment to be rushed through describing my symptoms with her snippy responses. Her intimidating demeanor caused me to freeze up and I wasn't able to share the extent of debilitating symptoms. Additionally, she misdiagnosed an issue for which I was already being successfully treated. I have body-wide muscle spasms caused by dehydration, and she said it was neuropathy. Really? I have neuropathy in my neck, waist, and arm muscles. Seeing her was a complete waste of my time and energy. If you are very assertive, she may be the doctor for you. If you have difficulty advocating for yourself, avoid this doctor.

She asked me what was going on and when I started to respond she told me she didn't have time for this. She may be more knowledgeable than what she appeared to be. However since she didn't have time to listen to my symptoms and only responded to questions or statements with a "hmm or oh" I really did not have away to gauge her knowledge.
