List of Kristine Bathke's Reviews
Dr. Bathke is a kind yet to the point kind of doctor. She has been extremely helpful and comforting during a sad time for my husband and I and remained level headed for me when I could not. When it came to my hysterctomy she gave me my options along with her honest opinion. I trusted her completely. I would recommend her. She has answered all my questions and between her and her staff answered my questions from the patient portal, either the day of or the day after I have sent it.
I cannot recommend Dr. Bathke enough. She's a careful, caring, confident provider who demonstrates the utmost respect for her patients and supports their decisions & their bodily autonomy. She will go for to the bat for her patients when needed, too, and make it seem like no big deal in the meanwhile. Her staff is equally caring and supportive. I'm grateful I had the chance to work with her.
I am so thankful for choosing Dr. Bathke as my provider during my 2nd pregnancy. She provided excellent care for me; I couldn’t have asked for anything better. She is confident, attentive, and knows just what to say. She is respectful of your wishes and won’t try to convince you otherwise. I can tell she is very kind hearted and I am just so blessed to have her as my OBGYN doctor.
I saw Dr. Bathke for a colposcopy. She barely talked or communicated what was happening. She didn't even come in before the procedure to explain what would be happening. I felt so uncomfortable during an already uncomfortable procedure. It only got better when the nurse from her office decided to leave a voicemail minutes before they closed on a Friday so I had to wait until Monday morning to learn that I had bad results. Unbelievable. Never went back to her.
Infertile? Beware! We were given a price sheet from her clinic that showed she does semen analysis and IUI. She does NOT. We are paying out of pocket for fertility issues, and initial consult is $200-400. We paid this just to find out out she can't do the things we were told she could. Now we have to start over and pay another $200-400 to go someplace else that can. It's not her fault, so I'm giving 4 stars, but we are VERY unhappy. Avoid Dean Clinic for fertility problems.
When I told her I wanted my fallopian tubes removed because I don't want children, she didn't bingo me. At all. It was great. None of that 'You might regret it one day' or any of that nonsense. She respected me and what I want for my life. If you're also childfree, you should check her out. I think you'll like her. She has a calm disposition and is confident in her abilities.
I have worked with her through a cancer scare and all of my pregnancies (including a miscarriage). She is patient and kind. She is never in a rush and listens carefully. I would love my daughters to have her some day.
A phenomenal OB, highly recommend Dr. Bathke. We have been with her for both pregnancies and could not be happier with our experience!
I don't understand why she has such high ratings. She was really short with me and had terrible bedside manner. Someone who takes care of something so personal should be a nice person to be around.
I went in for my first prenatal visit and I was in and out in less than 15 min. She gave me a binder with information in it, but she didn't give me any advice at all... about anything... She mentioned nothing about prenatal vitamins, how much weight I should be gaining, or anything special I should be doing now that I am pregnant. I am finding a new insurance provider. It seems like all of my recent experiences with Dean have been similar. The office staff is really nice and there isn't very much wait time, but once I actually get to the point of seeing a medical professional, I am rushed in and rushed out.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
