List of Dr. Christopher Larson's Reviews
I have had no problems of having to wait. Everyone has been very nice. I just had 1 cateract done and followed up the next day and I had no waiting to be seen.
Long wait time, zero apologies or professionalism. I came in on October 30th for an eye exam. The first visit was okay despite waiting 25 minutes after being taken in. They ordered me contact lenses without informing me of being charged $150 but I ate the cost since I blamed myself for not asking. The left contact did not work so I scheduled an appointment on November 27th at 9 AM. I got there by 8:55, they took me in at 9:06 and then proceeded to sit there until 9:40 when I went up to the front desk. FORTY MINUTES OF WAITING!!! The receptionist said to go back the the office after stating how long I waited. Dr. Leavy ran in without an apology. Hastily made corrections on my prescription then said he'd rush ship them. We'll see what happens. They never offered to make it right and I recommend save your time and money for somewhere better.
The care is fine, but expect to be there a long time for your appointment. My mother's appointment was at 3:30pm. They took her in at 3:20 and we weren't finished until 5pm. The treatment time is less than 15 minutes, but the waiting time . . . . This is the norm. It's happened almost every time we go there.
This place takes WAYYYY too long. Waiting room full waiting on 1 doctor. 15 min appt will take you an hour and a half.
Had cataract surgery with lens implants this past November. I opted for the upgrade to laser surgery. The process on both eyes was easy. I felt very well cared for and found Dr. Larson to be an excellent surgeon. Highly recommend.
I feel I was very well informed of my condition requiring cataract surgery I chose to have the surgery done with Laser. The procedure was painless, and my vision recovery was fast. I would recommend Dr Larson to others because of his thoroughness, kind bedside manner and cutting ege approach to eye surgery,.
I saw Dr Larson after problems that developed at another Dr. Dr Larson took the time to gather all of the information from other Doctors, reviewed them with me and starting a vision saving treatment for my left eye. I am very grateful for his thoroughness in reviewing my condition and his understating of my awkward situation.
Dr. Larson opened up after hours to see me in an emergency. He was extremely thorough. Some of these other reviews seem very questionable (especially the one that claims he refused to tell what the condition was). Also saw Dr. Lavey. Both were professional and knowledgeable.
Overall, I am very disappointed with Dr. Larson. His staff was very VERY kind and helpful, but Dr. Larson himself was very unfriendly and not professional. I recently had an operation where I had to wait in the operation chair for over a half hour due to his tardiness. During the operation he said very little. His nurse was the one explaining everything to me and encouraging me. After the operation, he took off before I even sat up from the table. The real kicker is, I had a problem with the medications (anti-biotic and painkiller) prescribed, where when he was the doctor on call, he was unable to get a hold of and would not return mine nor the pharmacies phone calls. After nearly 3 hours of horrid pain and no anti-biotics, the pharmacist got a hold of a nurse at the office who called the other doctor on staff to help me. If you or your loved ones are looking for a friendly doctor who cares about his patients and their well-being, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.
I was initially seen in the ER on a Saturday. Diagnosis and treatment was started for a corneal infection (ulcer?) Dr Larsn called me at home later that day and again on Sunday to be sure I was comfortable and that I would be coming in for a follow-up on Monday. I was impressed with his caring manner ( I have never had a Dr call me) his staff, and all of the follow-up visits to his office

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
