List of Xia Vang's Reviews
Dr Vang was the last physician my fiancé saw after getting shuffled around both Ascension and ThedaCare trying to get treatment for an ear infection, thrush, psoriasis everywhere on her body including her hands and feet, and a scalp condition that literally had her scalp peeling away from her skull. You could smell the necrotic tissue from her scalp from 5 feet away. We had no help from anyone and they kept telling her to see other doctors, meanwhile her condition was getting worse. Everyone said that they couldn’t figure out the problem and wanted nothing to do with it. After we saw Dr Vang, she set us up with specialists. She took pictures and expedited the process. She prescribed medication and gave us a list of hygiene products that wouldn’t irritate her condition. After 5 days, her skin cleared up and the thrush was gone. Her scalp is on the mend and her ear infection seems to be getting better. Dr Vang had no more clue as to why my fiancé was having these issues other than an idea it was all tied to an autoimmune reaction of some sort. We are still doing testing to find out what that is. In the meantime, Dr Vang didn’t push us off on someone else. She tried to do something about it. Effectively, I might add. We are eternally grateful for her empathy and skill. We have switched our primary care to Dr Vang effective immediately.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
