Second-time, repeat patient here! Paul Potos at Alliant Physical Therapy has been a tremendous help for a few years now, having seen him for back pain issues and more recently therapy during a post-knee surgery recovery. I've always been really impressed with the work Paul does, he's helped me increase so much more of my mobility, strength, and range of motion in ways that are caring and cautious. After walking out of each PT session with him I feel a noticeable improvement in my recovery and have a heck of a lot of gratitude for that. Paul is super friendly, empathetic, and knowledgeable of how joints are supposed to work and what it takes to get an injured joint back to speed safely. The exercises we do at each PT session and the ones he gives me to practice at home are always effective, within my ability, and match the pace of my recovery, which is definitely helps with my progression and confidence. Shannon at the front desk is always courteous and friendly, checks in on how I'm doing with my recovery, and goes out of her way to make sure follow-up appointments are scheduled as conveniently as possible for the patient. Not to mention the reminder texts and personalized calls are always helpful too. Hopefully I'll be free of injuries for a while but should something happen again, I'll be back at Alliant PT in Shorewood with Paul again. The work he does professional, effective, and kind. Thanks!

The staff treat's you with respect and they are concerned about your needs for improving yourself with less pain as possible.

Nice enough folks, but poor sense of professionalism. I hesitated for a long time to write a review at all because they’re so friendly that I felt bad saying anything. My doctor was more than once on his phone texting or scrolling through some app while absentmindedly “treating” me. One time he abandoned me partway through my appointment to chat with his daughter when she dropped by. I’m not sure I made any long term progress with my injury before my insurance had me discontinue treatment. Because they’re so friendly and conversational, they can be a little loose with patient confidentiality, and I often felt like I should not know what I was being told. But they’re really sweet and friendly. Unfortunately, sweet and friendly doesn’t always mean effective, and my roughly $1000 bill after insurance (that keeps getting sent to the wrong address) doesn’t seem worth it.

Healing Hands! I've been receiving physical therapy care as needed over 12 years. I've been extremely pleased with the results! As self employed painter and mountain biker, I've struggled with injuries and pain. Paul is the man to help me! He is a careful and understanding listener and is personable and pleasant to deal with. His care is hands on including: ultra sound, deep tissue massage, and electric stimulation. When home exercises are recommended, they are only those essential to recovery maybe requiring 15 minutes. A few to several treatments may be needed, but my results have been 100% mobility and pain free! I highly recommend Paul at Alliant in Shorewood!

When you enter the building your greeted with kindness and respect.No matter what Paul is doing ... he will stop and acknowledge your there and speak.Bless his heart ,because he put what he’s doing to the side just to help you. I’ve been going to Alliant pt for about five years off & on, and I just love the warm treatment I get from Paul when I’m there. I’ve been to other places even out of state, and I haven’t found no other like Paul, he take his time with you.and when I leave I always feel much better. In my opinion alliant pt in Shorewood Wi is the place in the world.

I would give more than 5 stars if possible! Extremely professional and personable at the same time! Absolutely respect Dr Potos! He explained procedures before and while doing them. Dr. Paul provides a safe, understanding, sympathetic, private practice, and always accompanies his diagnosis with standard treatment suggestions in addition to recommendations. He is the first Doctor I have ever had that concentrated on wellness of the mind, body, and soul. Seriously, he is the first doctor that ever made me feel like I was more than just another patient. I can't say enough about his care. From entering his office and working with his kind assistant to the cleanliness and order of his treatment room, all the way to the check out process - his office and professionalism is second to none. As for the care he provided I truly appreciated his approach of treating me as a whole, not a collection of potentially disparate problems. Since he is a one doctor practice he seems to be able to manage his time in such a way that he gives himself time to think and focus on me as his patient - no hurried review of my file as he scampers from his previous patient in the next room, and therefore no rush out the door to his next patient. That's really amazing, and not like the typical doctor. He truly cares about me as a patient and as an individual. I was extremely impressed! Dr. Paul is a higher standard of health care, and I hope his model is the future of the medical industry!"
