After preforming major surgery, he left the next day for several days to a week,out of the country, bird hunting with his son,unbeknownst to me.My three day stay in the hospital turned into 10. Just days after discharge, my PCP said that I never should have been discharged in my condition.Thus, it is very unlikely that I would ever recommend him.If he had had the decency to inform me of his vacation plans,I never would have undergone surgery the day before his departure.It was NOT an emergency.

Dr. St Jean is a superb surgeon. He performed a bilateral Inguinal hernia repair using robotic technology. His technique was so good that I was off all pain meds after 24 hours and had a much quicker than average recovery. He was very clear and thorough in explaining the options and benefits of different techniques. Highly recommended.

I liked Dr. St. Jean from the moment I met him. My pre-op consult was thorough and easy. My surgery results were excellent, better than I expected. I would, and have, recommend Dr. St. Jean to anyone who has the problems I had.
