I did not like Dr. Stickney. She pushes you to come in more than any other doctor I’ve had- I’m used to a yearly and maybe a 6 month med check but she wanted me to come in every few months. And if I came in it would be a 20min discussion and I’d be thrown a $200-$300 doctor visit bill. I feel like she doesn’t have enough patients so she tries to make others come in more to get money. I stopped going to her because of this and how unreasonable it was to come in more than twice/year.

We originally were seeing another doctor who was unavailable one day and immediately switched to Dr. Stickney after just one visit. Her down to earth explanations, compassion, and forthrightness have kept our entire family coming back to her year after year. She has researched the most obscure conditions for us and called late in the evening to follow up and make sure we have understood everything we need to know about it. She has been wonderful for our entire family across the entire range of ages, from when our son was a tiny baby and is still seeing him through everything as he grows into a happy and healthy man. She has a wonderfully helpful and awesome staff as well and they have always made us feel more like family than just patients. As much as I would like to avoid visits to the doctor (of course), they have always made it as painless and pleasant as possible. We are truly blessed to have such competent and caring medical professionals

Dr. Stickney has always been a very down-to-earth, practical, patient, and informative doctor. She has always answered all of my questions completely, and has been very patient with me and my family. She has always researched everything I have needed to see her for and spent a lot of time explaining it in a way that was very easy to understand.

Dr. Stickney is a really through physician. She is very willing to listen to all our ailments and concerns. We like her demeanor and thoroughness. When she moved from Hartford to the Susses clinic, we followed her. I wouldn't want anyone else for a General Practitioner.
