In my opinion, Dr Cavaness is the best doctor at Tomah Clinic. My family has been with Dr Cavaness for the 20 years he has been at Tomah Clinic. He knows his medicine and usually what is wrong when you go in to see him. . Takes time to listen and discuss your health problems. I never feel rushed and know he really cares. His staff members are also caring and thorough. Would not go to any other Doctor or Clinic for treatment. If Dr Cavaness does not know what is wrong, he says so, and refers to another doctor immediately so you get the medical care you need right away. He is friendly, compassionate and caring. One of the best!

Listens to patient and a very people friendly person. Explanation is very detailed to patient. Very knowledgeable and gives it his all to get to the bottom of personal health issues and if he doesn't know a answer he will tell you the truth and get you the answer and figure out the best approach and path for your particular needs and make very professional and knowledgeable recommendations. I have been very pleased that he has been my family practice doctor and wouldn't change it for the world.

Dr. Cavaness is wonderful. The only complaint I have is he is really hard to get an appointment with...occupational hazard I guess! I always feel I have his full attention and I never feel rushed.
