List of Amin Afsari Do's Reviews
2nd surgery with Dr. A, if I could give 10 stars I would! Everyone from Ashley in the office to Dr. A and his surgical team are always extremely professionally and helpful. Top notch.
He gave me my arm back. Just had ulnar nerve surgery 3 weeks ago after major boat accident. It’s an operation my referred Dr said was too delicate for him to perform. He said go to Dr Afsari and he was right, This man is an artist, The pain is gone.
Was recommended by another doctor. Demonstrates impatience and appears to be rushed to get you in and out. Often inconsiderate when his questions are not answered to his liking. Not a real people person.
Fixed my fractured finger I hurt with a mallet hammer. Staff was nice and showed compassion to me. Then he said he can fix my partially paralyzed arm for me which I am every emotional about.i can't wait to get this surgery done and be able to work and get off disability. Very nice
I went to Dr.Asfari for carpal tunnel on both hands. I have never met such a kind Doctor in all my years of having to see Drs. He took time to explain things so I would understand. We laughed and I felt like I was with a friend. I guarantee you, you will feel the same if you see him. Surgery went Great! I told him I wish him the very best and the patients to follow will be as happy as I am.
Dr Asfari is fantastic as a surgeon and just a great guy! I was in pain for many years in my right wrist. I contacted a doctor and he referred me to Dr Asfari. He explained what was going on and gave me some options to discuss. He spent as much time as I needed to make my decision which turned out to restore my wrist to almost new condition and without pain. I just wish I would have seen him much earlier
I was fit in to Friday schedule at 2:45. Trauma and stitches to pinky and ring finger. PA came took a quick look at fingers and looked at x-rays. Dr. Asfari came in looked at fingers asked me to bend fingers. I did so, with pain and wounds reopening and bleeding. He looked and xrays and said"even if there is a fracture, you need to use those joints so they don't freeze up." Which makes sense once the wounds are healed enough to do so! (Maybe a weeK?) Its liked he didn't even see the wounds. He mentioned rehab, if I needed it. I had to ask him to refer me. I felt like I really wasn't worth his time, because I wasnt a surgery case. I had to ask for a rehab referral and for a limited work release. I came in with bandaids/splints and left office with piece of qauze and a peice of tape barely covering wounds. I am sure he is probably a good surgeon, but does not give a hoot about patient care if it is not surgical.
Always felt rushed during my appointments, nerve felt my issue was important enough for his time. After I told him what my previous doctor had indicated he simply agreed and said lets do surgery. He never looked at or gave an evaluation of the x-rays that had been taken (at his request) of my hand. Not sure any radiologist has ever seen them either to even write an evaluation of the what was in the x-rays. Then, when agreeing to the surgery, he did not take the stiches out, I do get that but never checked the incision to realize there were still stiches left in which did become very sore and red and I took them out myself. I would opt for another Hand Surgeon.
I had ulnar nerve surgery done by him. He looked at imagining that I brought as well as information sent to him by my neurologist. Understood exactly what I was going through. Surgery went well and my after care. I am in need of my other arm done and will most likely be having him
Dr Asfari is great! He really takes his time to explain things and to make sure he answers any questions you have. You never feel rushed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
