Had totally unnecessary knee surgeries from him and it’s ruined my active lifestyle. I wish I had sought out a second opinion instead of trusting this physician. He was way too quick to recommend surgery. Do yourself a favor, don’t trust him and go elsewhere.

Dr. McCarty repaired my right shoulder after a massive rotator cuff tear. Shoulder feels like it is brand new!

I saw Dr. McCarty today. It is a busy office, but is run like a well-oiled machine—from the front desk, the office assistant who took me back to the room, the x-ray technician and of course, the doctor himself and Steve, his PA. After the xrays, the doctor and Steve, his PA came in. Dr. McCarty is very nice and straight forward. I am 68 years old and have had previous meniscus surgery on both knees. Currently, I am having knee pain and I was hoping to just have the meniscus worked on again.He looked at the xrays and said the dreaded words “bone on bone” —no cartilage left. He gave me a cortisone shot (remarkably not painful—he uses a very small needle and numbs it well) in both my aching knees and said it may work for a while, but ultimate relief would only be found in knee replacements. I like it when it is just spelled right out in a kind way. I was very happy with the visit. Dr. McCarty obviously is an expert in his field. It is a very friendly, professional office.

Dr. Mccarty is the best. Had issues with my knee try to see if we correct without surgery but it was to far gone that I needed a replacement. Best decision I made. Could not have asked for a better surgeon and his assistant Steve was the best as well. Recovery time was quick and feel a lot better no pain in knee at all.

I wanted a 2nd opinion for my knee pain. At the appt only the xray report was forwarded. The PA came in & did a brief exam. Dr. McCarty came in and without an exam said i should have injections for arthritis, lose weight, and get exercise. I tried to explain that my mother and daughter's have a genetic disorder and not just arthritis. I tried to express to Dr. McCarty that I just wanted further testing before treating with injections and come back in 2 weeks. He refused & walked out of the room.

Dr M is an amazing doc. As a wife of a surgeon, previous part owner of a surgical center, and private-practice health care provider, I am confident to strongly recommend Dr Mccarty. He is highly knowledgeable, professional and personable. I reside in Hawaii and travel to Milwaukee to have my procedures completed by him. I had successful results with one shoulder surgery, ( when 3other doctors were unable to successfully diagnose and treat), and am scheduled to now have the other shoulder done without hesitation. My surgeon -husband strongly encouraged me to return to Mccarty because he witnessed a great result.
