Jeffrey Roberts's Online Review Report Card

I was very disappointed with my experience with Dr Roberts and PCRM Victoria. I understand they went through a huge transition when/while they took over Victoria Fertility but I gave them a full year and a lot of grace but I would not recommend Dr Roberts or PCRM Victoria. Even the nursing staff went downhill. While knowledgeable, miscommunication or communication is delayed and requires constant follow up, mistakes in protocol, lack of compassion, tardiness with appointments (I’ve waited 30-40 for my phone call appts, I started timing my wait times), and lack of compassion in general. I am aware that they are busy but if you are charging people as much as they are, they should be providing excellent service. My whole experience left me feeling isolated, unsupported, and lost.

Completely abandoned his patient when the pandemic started. I was mid-treatment, on multiple medications. No follow-up, no ultrasound, no guidance as when to stop hormones. I had to refer to my GP and midwife for assistance. Complete patient abandonment. Clearly only cares about the money. Hugely disappointing considering the excellent care provided previously by Drs Graham and Hudson. Avoid at all costs.

I have nothing but positive things to say, thus far, with my experience with Dr. Roberts and PCRM. A few noteables - the first visit with Dr. Roberts, he sat down with my husband and I, reviewed any testing we already had done, laid out the further testing he was going to order and explained our next steps. He was thorough, knowledgeable and kind. He has a dry sense of humour, which we enjoyed, so keep that in mind. One thing that really stuck out to me on that first visit, given where were at in our reproductive journey, was him stating that his job at that point was to keep us away from doing what their clinic is really "designed" to do (ie. IVF and other intensive treatment options for fertility). This made us feel that he wasn't looking to make a buck, or accelerate our plan to cash-in. To-date, we haven't paid a penny to PCRM, but have had great care, thorough testing, and a procedure at BC Women's. Another noteable - our 2nd visit was cancelled a few days prior (for reasons I didn't ask about, but as a healthcare practitioner, understand that we are just humans too, and things can come up). BUT, instead of rescheduling for weeks out, Dr. Roberts called me on the WEEKEND, spent close to 20 minutes on the phone with me, explaining all the test results that had come in and made our plan for next steps. He even said, "I doubt you wanted to wait a few weeks to hear the results, so I wanted to call.", hence showing his compassion and commitment to his patients. After our most recent visit, again, my husband and I felt heard, he answered all of our questions and left knowing what the plan was. Dr. Roberts even sent an email a few days later asking if we had any further questions and to wish us luck on our next steps. In my opinion, this is above and beyond what I expect from a Specialist and he has truly over-delivered in our experience. Sandeep, his assistant, has also been great - efficient, returns call promptly and has been nothing but kind and pleasant.

He does everything to make sure you have as much difficulty conceiving as possible in order to force you to IVF treatments. In no way has the patient's best interests at heart. I had 2 complications with my cycle (low progesterone and a short follicular phase) and when I called Dr. Roberts about this, both times he told me that "there's no such thing". I went to someone else for help (only using PCRM for the actual IUI) and got pregnant in 2 tries after trying with Dr. Roberts for 10 months. Now, despite being almost 40 and having approval from my OB, he doesn't want me to try again for 1-2 years, thus ensuring it will be even more difficult to get pregnant when I get to try. I'll be moving over to another fertility clinic soon since Dr. Roberts is more interested in milking the cash cow than helping his patients.

I hope Dr. Roberts and his assistant Sandeep can be more empathetic and patient with their clients. We don’t understand much about the medical words and hope that they could explain them in more details but not to be rushed.

This man is a MONSTER, NOT a doctor. Stay away from him to save your mental and physical health as well as your money.

He is the worst doctor that I have ever seen. He called me a " no treatment case", but I conceived twice after referring to another fertility clinic. His diagnosis was WRONG. He gave me and my husband a very hard time. Shame on him.

We had a great experience with Dr. Roberts, he was very knowledgeable and caring but didn't beat around the bush. We appreciated his honesty and advise. I would recommend him to anyone. Our first IVF cycle was a success! We will be forever grateful to him!

This Doctor has been mine and my husbands support system. He is a competent doctor. Some reviews on here are whacked. Look at his credentials and stats they speak for themself. We would not change our soctor for anything in the world. Hes done my polyp removal, egg retrieval, and embryo transfer today. He is amazing. Keep it up Dr. Roberts.
