Aspen and Dr Jeffrey Larson and Dr Wood and all the staff are excellent! Dr Larson, thoroughly explains what the diagnosis is, treatment options and plans. If surgery is the option, he goes over everything to expect, during surgery, post surgical plans, potential complications.I would highly recommend Aspen Orthopedic and especially Dr. Larson.
Always a great experience with fantastic results!
Dr. Larson is a thorough, Knowledgeable, compassionate physician. Staff is nice and welcoming.
I had to have a revision of a total knee replacement on my right knee. Dr. Larson was very thorough with eliminating any possible non surgery causes for the problems that I was having. I ended up having to have scar tissue removed and some bone matter also. He did an excellent job and has great follow through after the surgery. I am not sorry that I went to him, I wish that I had gone sooner.
I never met a Dr. so full of missdiagnoses. No patient wants an alarmist, but this guy wants an easy out. Put in a hip, put in a knee, throw you to a PT person, and on with another implant. Hes been around for a long time but doesnt know how to treat people. If things arent going well , and you develope a complication, you are on your own. He actually gets angry when you dispute his diagnoses. A person usually knows what is going on with his or her own body. There are certainly much better doctors out there.
Im sure he knows how to put in a knee or hip, but he is quick to throw in the towel when a complication arises. Follow up is poor, in fact, overall care, communication is very poor. Not a progressive guy. Shop around...you can do better.
