List of Medexpress Urgent Care's Reviews
Got bit by a stray dog. Walked in and the lady was looking down on her phone. After about 10 seconds she looked up. I told her what was going on and she said that they don't do rabies shots and I would have to go to the ER or the department of health. She didn't even say anything about cleaning it up or even to assess the bite itself. I was in there for a grand total of 30 seconds, actively bleeding from my face. I don't usually have an issue but today
Yvonne was very unprofessional and disgustingly petty. She purposefully tried to make a child wait for care. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN. Had a much better experience at the Harper road location, much much better service.
Son had strep. Went in there this morning. Nurses and the doctor were SO nice ❤️ they were so fast too. My favorite urgent care now.
Scheduling a virtual visit is bs! Waited on hold for over an hour for the lady to tell me she needs exact height and weight and refuse to schedule even though I said I would get it (she didn't even ask what I was calling for). Nice of them to tell you that before you sit on hold for all eternity.
Came in at 6pm and refused to see my sick son. Said they’ve had enough patients for the day and didn’t need to see anymore.
Went there because been really tired and congested. The nurse practitioner was awesome! I started taking the medicine last night for bronchitis and already feel 80% better thank you I wish I caught your name.
January 2022 my significant other had a visit for a covid exposure. Just in the mail today (end of august) we get a bill for the full amount. Call med express billing to see why this was not paid by insurance and I’m basically told the insurance denied it. They don’t know why but it’s the patient responsibility to see why. The rep from Med Express billing was nasty and once he knew that I knew what I was talking about (I do billing for a living) He got an attitude and hung up on me! Not true, it’s a billing department issue to find out why. I called the insurance (reluctantly) to find out why there was no payment and was told it was denied in error and the provider needed to call back and have the claim reprocessed. Simple task! They cannot reprocess from the patient calling. I refuse to call Med Express billing back since they could care less how they treat customers. I call the Med Express that we went to. They “don’t do the billing” and really could care less that they need to call and have the claim reprocessed. I told the lady on the phone from the office, “if you want paid for the services rendered you need to call and have the claim reprocessed”. I’m not paying the bill since it’s a covered expense. Poor communication with the office at the visit, they were not friendly when I called today nor were they friendly the day the services were rendered, 4 hours waiting in the car to be seen and having to call every 30 minutes to see if they could see us. I understand covid and the restraints it has but there is NO REASON families should be in a car for 4 hours!!! Nonetheless there were 2 children at this visit! Definately rethink your visit to Med Express, Beckley Crossing location !!!
Most unprofessional unit. Website says not busy, but had to wait for an hour and a half for a COVID test.
Called to try and come in at both locations 40 minutes till they closed the woman that answered refused me said they wasn't taking anymore patients parking lot had maybe 4 cars but was still refused service will never go back to either location I'd rather go sit at an er than give them any business ever again
Horrible experience.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
