This guy mutilated my wife's eye during what should have been a routine cataract procedure. Her pupil was ripped and left in a rectangular shape, and she suffered a great arc retinal tear. She has been undergoing treatment at Wake Forest Baptist Health for 2 years as a result. Her best resultant vision in this eye is 20/200 corrected. Kanawati is a hack and his license to practice medicine should be revoked.

I took my daughter to see Dr. Kanawati and he told me there was nothing wrong with her and that I was worrying over nothing, turned out she had stage 5 cancer and had to have her left eye removed at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, her pediatrician called and spoke to him about her and he has never til this day even called and asked about her
