List of Camc General Hospital's Reviews
I recently had to be seen in the E. R. and they were very busy but they took me right in and they were super nice I would definitely go back again if I had to
It's a hospital, so not much to say. We went to the ALS clinic for my husband. All his doctors and nurses and the ALS team are super nice. It sucks that we have to be there 5-6 hours once every three months but they give us both lunch, not the greatest, but appreciate they do it. All good reviews.
Patient was never asked if he needed water. When he did ask they didn’t come back with water for him and once just brought him a Styrofoam cup of ice. No water! Went one whole day until 4:00 in the evening without anything to eat. Terrible. There were a few very nice nurses. Patient couldn’t hear very well at all and employees were told they needed to talk loudly or have another person there with him so he could understand what was being said. He said he just felt like he was in the dark not knowing what to expect or know what was going to be done to him or for him. Patient is an elderly person and they are usually scared anyway. Terrible service in my opinion.
Not very clean but staff was helpful
They had me in the waiting area the whole time except when they took my blood
Let me say I went for an interview for a billing position awhile back. I just graduated, I went to school for two years for billing and coding. They didn’t hire me, but they hired a co worker of mine that literally just has a high school diploma. I’m now going back to school and I’m majoring in nursing, but plan to work as a CCS while I go to nursing school. I believe I was more than qualified for the job. I worked really hard to graduate with a 3.4 gpa and it would be nice if they hired people that spent time studying billing and coding. All I can do is laugh because a CCS certification is very adequate, it’s literally the most difficult coding certification to get. I’m not taking it to heart but it’s literally a joke, no one can tell me otherwise. They will look at my grades for nursing school, I’m only 1 point away from the honor society, fingers crossed I get it this coming semester.
I had to get there by helicopter and everyone and I mean everyone that was involved with the aftermath of my car accident was amazing. Highly recommend this hospital
Awesome experience for an out of town traveler. Doctors and nurses really want to help patients here.
There's always a wait reception wasn't that nice and security was very rude.
I've had better care at memorial hospital.. Better nursing staff and Dr's in my honest opinion at memorial hospital..

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
