Great Nurses In Kids Surgery Center. My 2 Year Old Daughter Was Scared Until They Worked With Her

Don’t let your love ones be transferred to this hospital my cousin jean she only going supposed to be going here for her heart that it, and Elkins hospital had her healing from inside out on her bowel surgery was going great she was excited to get that bag off her side! She was doing so well! She was about to be healed up!!! She was getting up and down doing great!! until she got transferred to this hospital’! They stop her from healing from inside out they just taken her in to do other bowel surgery on her when they didn’t have to and let her continue to heal from the inside out!! Like Elkins hospital was doing! But instead they butchered this 62 year old lady she had big piece bowel sticking out of her stomach! Left her like this.. this hospital hadn’t even give my sister and Jean even a date to when they was going to take that bag off her side! put her bowel back inside her body. And why did they do this when she was healing so well..My sister has called many times to try to talk with that surgeons to ask why did you do this and when she was almost healed from it! Why did you butcher this poor lady even her nurses said that they didn’t have to leave that much bowel out her stomach! The surgeon will not call back she can’t get no answer on when they was gonna take that off her nothing!! This is worst neglect I have seen on someone I think they did this just to run up her insurance etc! And now she a lot worst then she was before way worst please don’t let your love one go here! My wife gave birth here and it was a terrible experience it took them 3 try’s to give her a epidural and after her water broke and she told them and asked to be checked the nurse told her no she didn’t she must have peed then I was rushed last second before my son was born they were holding her legs closed because her water did break and they didn’t check her my wife is still overall horrified by this experience with our second sons birth

DO NOT COME HERE especially for ear pain. We called ahead of time and asked could they call a ENT to help my son. We was told yes, we drove over 3 hours and when we got there the rudest most horrible PA told us they won't call the ENT because it's not considered a emergency. My son has been is pain for 6 months and was screaming and they wouldn't help him or call the ENT. The man's name was NATHAN!!! HORRIBLE MAN!!! Go somewhere else, this hospital doesn't care about its patients especially a 14 month old who's SUFFERING!!!

My nephew needed transferred to this hospital from another and they refused. The ped doc finally got it approved and when he came they denied the right services and said the pain from his GI tube was normal for a baby to cry when touched or feed because they didn’t want to deal with it. How is this a hospital for woman and children when they don’t care??? He has a feeding tube and he can’t eat because they don’t care about the child after birth. The original hospital said it was eroded and needed bigger, but the on call doctor from Cmac said he was fine not eating because they didn’t want to make it bigger for him. What laziness to help a child. What a shame!! Lawyers are awesome. See you next time: (my nephews voice that he doesn’t have) I hope all staff that agreed has the year they deserve. WARNING!!!!! DO NOT GO TO WOMENS AND CHILDRENS HOSPITAL. MY WIFE WENT THERE FOR PAIN AND TO CONFIRM PREGNANCY. THE HOSPITAL GAVE MY WIFE A SHOT THAT CAUSED HER TO MISS CARRIE THEN THE HOSPITAL COVERED IT UP.

Had an outpatient surgery there and cannot say enough great things about the staff. The nurses were so helpful and patient. Maegan was my intake nurse and she had a mentor nurse with her that I unfortunately can't remember her name, but they were both great. Explained the procedure, took time to find the best hand for my IV. I really felt at ease.

ER nurses are nice. Most of the Drs are rude and treat you like being there is an issue to them. One Dr was really stuck up acting and said "I dont see an emergency" as soon as he came in before he even got any information from me. No my body swelling up making me gain 14lbs excess fluid and feeling like I couldn't breathe wasn't an emergency I guess. My BP has never been high but it was through the roof. He acted like I was wasting their time. Spent 5 hours to be told "You can swell for alot of reasons- could be anything here's your discharge".

Absolute garbage ER doctors. I took my fiancee to the ER last night because she was having severe chest pains and difficulty breathing. She was barley able to walk at all. When we arrived, we had to sit in the lobby for 30 minutes when nobody else was waiting and they had 4-5 beds open. She got her vitals taken and a strep test done. then had to wait another 20 minutes for to be called back into a office. She was then told that she is perfectly fine and that it could just be COVID, pneumonia, RSV, or the flu. I asked the doctor why don't they test her for any of this, his response was "we don't test for RSV and our test kits for covid are gone." Completely ignoring the pneumonia part. I told him that she was obviously in pain and it was clear she was having trouble breathing. He told me to just come back if it gets any worse and walked out of thee room. If you need care fast and want component doctors, do not go to this hospital.

I had my son at the ER earlier today at 12:37pm with a fever of 104.1 and they did a nose swab to test for flu, covid, etc ~ The ER doctor said it would be 6 to 8 hours before the test results were back in because they had ran out of rapid tests ~ She told me to call back much later tonight and ask for the ER Department an to just tell them I am calling for my sons test results ~ So I just did that a few minutes ago... it's now 11:33pm as I'm typing this... I got connected to the ER Department and said exactly what the doctor told me to say and the woman that answered the phone was completely clueless ~ She said... " uuuum well I just recently got on shift and I don't know what to do in this situation so you should probably call back in the morning and they could help you, and the test results probably isn't even back yet anyways" ~ I again told her what the doctor told me to do and say...and she said... "All I do is answer the phone here in the ER and I don't know what to tell you so just call back in the morning" 😱😳🤯 SHE WORKS IN THE ER... AND DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO RESPOND TO A SIMPLE CALL LIKE MINE??? THE DOCTOR HERSELF TOLD ME TO CALL THE ER AND ASK FOR MY SONS TEST RESULTS ~ YET.... The CLOWN that just answered the phone sounded like it was her very 1st 5 minutes of EVER being on the job answering the ER phone... COMPLETE POOR training and management of employees!!! Aside from this minor but aggravating incident... I will never go back to CAMC ER because the last 3 times have been completely useless and only 1% of the employees seem to have real brain cells that actually work compared to everyone else in that department ~
