Camc Urgent Care Center's Online Review Report Card

Rudest place ever. They are not patient with scared sick or hurt children. I called to ask what time they closed because online said hours may be affected due to Black Friday. I asked what time they closed and she said “uhm 7” then I said thank you and she just hung up. Not somewhere I would want to get me or my child seen.

It took forever getting back in the back, once they saw my kids they said they were fine, they are still sick and now need to go to the pediatrician

Kyle Lester APRN had absolutely poor and embarrassing bedside manner and no professionalism. This is my first and last review I’ll ever write. I presented all the signs of infection and in pretty bad pain (I never complain). He says I slept on it wrong, and that just BLEW me away. As a student learning nursing, I was in disbelief that he didn’t even do a proper assessment on me. I just tried to be civil although I was furious with our entire interaction, I left and just waited to get better because the only thing he prescribed me for infection symptoms were muscle relaxers? I didn’t even bother taking them. Flash forward to today and my symptoms are much more painful and severe, I take myself to the emergency room, and what do you know? I have an infection! So he sent me home, and made me more sick when he could’ve been the one to prescribe me antibiotics. I will not pay the bill for an X-ray I didn’t need, and services that were not professional. His license should truly be in question. Thankfully it wasn’t more severe or I’d probably file an entire lawsuit.

Horrible experience. Saw Dereck Fletcher and no wonder people sit and wait forever he was in the hallway (mind you I don’t hear the best) but he was so loud I could hear word for word talking about patients as I sat for 2 hours in a freezing room. As he discussed his finances, talked about a patient that had been in a wreck and way to wait so long and not go to the ER and they wanted to google to see if the wreck actually happened discussing how now suddenly she had numbness down her arm to her fingers. Even to discuss how he could survive In prison for a while but not “too” long. Discussed the ER life and how they “loved him at Cabell. Absolutely awful.

Great staff, quick and efficient!

Every time I have came to this location, the staff has always been amazing, fairly quick considering the amount of patients they have at a time, and always extremely clean. The doctors and nurses make you actually feel like they’re there to help, taking their time and very professional. I’ve been here probably half a dozen times and I have never had a bad experience.

The phone system set up for incoming calls is a JOKE. I was cut off numerous times. Put someone to answering the phone and it could have been handled in a couple of minutes, NOT 47 minutes and No Answers. Absolutely Sad Service.

I've been in and out the last couple times I've been here.The staff were nice and I would recommend getting there when they open at 8am if possible.

The way they fly through assessments makes it feel like they mostly pencil whip the details. They're always rushing even when the place is empty. I do not like it here. Friendly, but not thorough

Came here and was checked in within minutes. I had to wait in the first area for maybe 20min before I was called back. There was I believe two people in front of me. Nurses were friendly, joked with them about a wedding that I likely got sick from and how awful it was. I waited in the back room for another 15min before being seen, the lady who saw me was very serious and to the point. She thoroughly checked me over and agreed my throat looked super angry. She did a quick strep throat test that came back positive after about 10min. All in all I was here for roughly an hour, was quickly diagnosed, and medicine was called in. Not sure why some other reviews on here said everyone was rude? I didn't experience that at all.
