List of Adrienne M. Mays Kingston's Reviews
Amazing lady! Great with patients & listens to patients when there is issues with health. Have been seeing her for several years now and always great experience. More doctors should take lessons from her on how to treat people. Thank you for making us matter.
Me and my whole family Appreciate All that she has done for us She has went up and beyond Any doctor Best doctor ever hands down
Dr. May's is absolutely the best dr in town. Dr.mays takes her time and doesn't rush me at all. She has helped me with some difficult things. I really appreciate all she has done
Dr. Mays has been my doctor for several years and I travel from St. Albans to see her. She’s the most amazing doctor for caring, listening, and professional knowledge.
She takes her time. She doesn't rush out the door. She answers all your questions and concerns and explains in English not just doctorlingo. She is the best Dr in this area when it comes to Family Medicine. She has went above and beyond for us and my extended family as well. You won't find anyone else like her.
Most thorough doc I’ve been too. Wonderful bedside manner. Highly recommend!
Dr. Mayes has been excellent. She doesn't rush me when talking and listens to my medical issues
Incompetent and rude staff
Dr. Mays has been my Doctor for over 7 years. She is remarkable and wonderful. She is an active listener, personable and a genuinely caring individual who incorporates her patients' desires with her professional recommendations...A rare find in the Medical Profession!
I have been seeing doctor Mays since she she was a resident. Although She has decent bedside manor, she lacks the skills to treat complex medical conditions. However, Her staff is unorganized, unprofessional, and careless. I would find a more experienced physician who has the skills to treat chronic health conditions without referring you to 30 specialists. Additionally, Dr. Mays needs to hold her staff accountable for any careless or unprofessional behavior. No one is perfect, and mistakes do happen. I expect my physicians to be humble and apologize when mistakes do happen. I was seriously harmed by an error Dr. Mays’s nurse made 3 years ago. I never received an apology from anyone. Dr. Mays allowed her nurse to place me on speaker phone so all the nurses could make fun of me. It was humiliating, and it never should have been allowed. I would love to show that nurse my autonomic testing results from Cleveland Clinic. I was not lying about my shortness of breath or heart palpitations. Dr. Mays was in the room and only picked up the phone after I demanded to be taken of speaker phone. I found a new physician after I called with severe heart palpitations, painful urination, and muscle cramps. I told Dr. May’s nurse, “I have never said this before, but I know something is wrong.” Instead of documenting my problem appropriately, the nurse chose to judge me saying “my symptoms were all over the place.” Dr. Mays never addressed the problem. Instead, she told her nurse to document my message in my chart. Luckily, I listen to my body and went to the ER. Thomas Memorial Hospital quickly diagnosed me with Rhabdomyolysis. My kidneys could have been damaged without prompt treatment. Too many mistakes have happened. I switched physicians after 11 years at Family Medicine.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
