Donald Lewis's Online Review Report Card

I'm six weeks post surgery for rotator cuff and bicep repair. I've experienced NO PAIN! When there nerve block wore off, I had no need for the prescribed pain medication. I had heard many stories of how painful shoulder surgery was, but my experience with Dr. Lewis was just the opposite. Now I'm eager to get on with PT and regain full use of my dominant arm.

Had a great experience with sequoia surgery center and dr Lewis from initial appt, surgery check in front desk staff, nursing, surgery checkout, and after care. Highly recommended.

I went to Dr Lewis for extreme hand painand swelling. I'm going to get right to the point and not tell my story ! He said to take antibiotics they he prescribed for me told me to put hot packs on my hand. Go the the emergency room if it gets worse and good luck !! Have a nice day. Walked out of the room. He could of cared less about helping me. But charged 300 for 6 minutes of his time. Took me two weeks to see him. Don't go to this Doctor !

Saw Dr. Lewis who treated the pinky finger on my right hand by Xiflex. The pinky finger was badly curled Dr. Lewis process has straightened it. I am still in physical therapy so I can’t say the recovery is final but I am optimistic about the results.

I highly recommend Dr. Lewis and his staff. Everyone in that office is been beyond friendly and helpful. Dr. Lewis performed my shoulder surgery back in 2014. My shoulder feels great, but I recently had to return for a new, unrelated issue with my wrist. I was back on the books within two days of calling the office. Although we are still in the process of deciding which treatment is best for me, Dr. Lewis has already taken the time to discuss with me some possible options and the pros and cons of each one. He is always patient and thorough in addressing my questions and/or concerns.

Dr. Lewis is very attentive, and listens to every one of your concerns. He gets you results, and making you feel better is his goal.

After my hand surgery I had a cast put on..well unfortunately with the need to wash and use hand sanitizers, I accidentally got my cast slightly wet. So I wasn’t sure what to do... I called Dr. Lewis and left a message, I received a call back within about 10 minutes! I know this call wasn’t important or urgent but I was happy that at least I received a call back so quickly!

My procedure was not unusual. Dr Lewis understood it well. He offered several options. After trying cortisone injections, I opted for surgery to permanently correct the problem. The operation was successful and I am now going to physical therapy.

So far, so good. Still in recovering/rehab on my dupetryn's contracture surgery. But, my surgery went well. Hand is straight. Working on bending fingers again. Really not sure what all the negative reviews are all about. Sounds like a case of it being a problem with the patient, not the doctor. Look, going to the Dr. for things like surgery suck. You're not going to be coddled and babied. Sorry if the bedside manner was too direct for you. Grow up and deal with it. Dr. Lewis, AND all the staff have been nothing but great, every time. Will update if something changes...
